the three bears had eaten

the shop for 24 more bags

Add all the
'1's, '2's, '3's and '4's
What is your answer?
10 mill isk to the first correct answer(was hoping to have the prize increase every hour by 1-2 mill but need some 1 to sponsor).
Good luck all

Maybe you can tell us the answer and we work it out backwards? Sometimes, some proofs can be done by moving forwards, sometimes, backwards, and some other times, have to do it at both sides so we can connect them together... ----------------------------------- Eve is all about Darwinism: 1. 10M + Bonus, where Bonus is upon your discretion if we can kill this question within a nice time limit. Perhaps the bonus is valued at 10-20M? I would guess at either:
0 - since there are no 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s in the stanza.
or
11 - sum of the words all the words "one" "three" added together. There are no 2's or 4's.
Otherwise, I'd presume it's something to do with the way the poem is laid out due to their being 4 paragraphs or something :p

[[32 so far]]
Add all the
'1's, '2's, '3's and '4's
What is your answer?
though counting the question gives you another 10 so then it's [42] though it could be read as "add the 1's 2's 3's 4's" being the only part to actually count, which would give [10] though they include the "'s" which means it's not just them. and as for the extra text after the story, it reads only as information - therefore not included in the calcs

There are at least four "correct" answers to that riddle, depending on exactly how the riddler intended his instructions to be meant. They are insufficiently clear cut.
So insisting that 17 is wrong, or that 0 is wrong, is .. err ... wrong. Those answers ARE correct, for the particular way they've interpreted the instructions. If that's not the way you want the instructions interpreting, you need to make them clearer.

I know how it's worded, I read the damn thing. I said it's not CLEAR.
If you insist on being taken absolutely literally, then the answer is 6. There's only one "2" and one "4" in the story; all the rest are written in words. But since you already said that 6 is incorrect, then you want the instructions interpreted in other than the absolute literal. So .. you need to make them more clear.
Which I think I mentioned

You want us to ignore anything higher than 4, and to only add. so going on the above:
4 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 4 + 2 + 4 + 3 = 31
