I log in. I warp into a belt with some easy rats as I log in.
I lock them. I try to activate my modules... nothing works. I try to warp out--nothing happens.
My 250m kitted apoc dies because its repairers won't turn on.
I go to help channel--there appear to be at least 10 other people who lost their ship in the past minute. I talk to the ISD in the channel, he says "oh its a packet loss problem, not our fault... so probably no reimbursement."

CCP, can you put a big warning message on the server that says "DON'T TOUCH" so this doesn't happen to anyone else? --

There's 3 or 4 other threads of peeps complaining about lag and CTD's. I suggest you read them to find the answers you're looking for. |

But it does help to be able to whine in several different threads at the same time.

With all these posts about CTD's, Lag, from paying customers maybe a DEV or someone from CCP can take notice of this and reply? Seems to be more than coincidence that it is client side especially with it happening to alot of players.
Any CCP member care to comment????

Maybe they are all too busy fixing it to reply to every single thread whining?

A reply to at least 1 thread or a news article about the problem would be nice. It doesn't take long. |

It's not likely to happen, tbh. Lag-related deaths rarely get refunded unlesas there's a specific known problem.
Lag/CTD problems after the patch probably don't count because it doesn't affect everyone.

This was a particular incident where for a few minutes everyone was getting massive disconnects and insane packet loss, so it might happen. --

If it was server-lag, petition and your ships will be reimbursed but get out there to collect everything that wasn't destroyed before someone else does because they're not reimbursed. Although the petition system is fried at the moment, isn't it?
They have logs of the server problems from what I remember and can check if your death coincided with server problems. If that's the case, you get reimbursed.

Thete is no server lag. There was no server lag at the Titan event. (So I'm told, in any case... )

Aw come on, it's just an apoc, to someone like you, I'm sure thats chump change. Do what my corp has to do and suck it up. I'm sure you've had your check engine light come on while on the road. Think of it as another real life "unfair" factor, you had a loose wire in your repair systems.
Makes for great role-play!
