Should corporations allow alcoholics into them? What damage can a alcohlic do when in an intoxicated state and does it jepurdise the state of the corp?
This raises an entirely new question, eve and alcohol, does it go? Share your experiences and your nightmares. Have you ever won a 1v1 while tanked up on tequila, mined arkonor after a massive clubbin session or npc'd to the sweet comforts of a large bottle of jack daniels.

I do believe my corporate title speaks for itself.
I have many times mined drunk,
I have many times npcd drunk,
I have a few times pvpd drunk.
I find it puts an interesting slant on the game.

Nothing like a fleet fight and a case of beer beside you. The drunker you get the better it all looks and at a certain point you don't notice the lag cause everything just blurs together.

Alcoholism is a very serious issue among corporations, and I believe the only way we can face it is through great understanding and knowledge. Alcoholics tend to have affected combat performance, as well as behavioural issues over both text and voice chat; often resulting in racial slurs and insults of sexual preference. Sometimes, we catch our corpmates playing EVE without the proper attire, which can be quite shocking and disturbing when you expect something completely different from your comrades at 5am in the morning. Most recently we had a dire situation where one of our corpmates who shall remain unmentioned, was found having violent mood swings, which earlier reports attributed the sudden onsurge of estrogen from his monthly cycle.
It was later discovered he did not meet the minimum blood alcohol level and was thus being a grumpy, fully dressed sourpuss on TS, too alert and aware of the dangers of pvping against the odds. Quite a useless SOB, tbh :\ Soon enough we had the situation remedied, and the reports of PMS outbursts had died down, and reports of de-pantification were confirmed by numerous uncredible sources.
I recommend getting your corpmates as much help as is required in serious situations like these!

Out of my entire corp, i would have to say on any given op, at least 50% of my pilots have been drinking, with about 20% of the drinkers completely ****ed.
Lunas Feelgood is especially bad, when he's a scout and completely out of there, he see's "rabes and bears" LOL

I tend to tell my corp mates to shoot whoever the hell they want regardless of corp standings. Usually they just ignore me but every once in a while **** happens. If me and the rest of my corp are all drunk...GNW 2 may start

Playing eve while drunk is pretty interesting. I lost my first ever ship while drunk, I attacked a blood raider cruiser in a .5 in my merlin

I don't think I've ever played EVE sober. Everyone knows drinking makes you charming, erudite, quick-witted and sound of judgement. I think you owe it to your fellow players to be all those things and more.

Alcohol is bad. I dont drink any of it for over 2 years now. But I remember that we had one goo drinker in our corp and one or two that logged in while very drunk. No bad words or anything were spoken during that time. We told them that eve and alc doesnt work and so they logged off.
Nuff said.
