Sniper rule extends the auction for 15 minutes after every bid. When no bids have been placed for 15 minutes, you have a winner.

Here somebody explained sniper rule:
Sniper Rule Explained
Quote: Edited by: Necronomicon on 30/06/2005 09:56:48 Sniper Rule explained:-
If the ending time is for instance 21:00 and a bid is placed at 20:40, then the auction will end at the advertised time of 21:00. IF however another bid is placed at 20:50, the 15min sniper rule comes into play and the auction end is delayed until 21:05. Basically, the auction will not end until at least 15mins has elapsed since the last bid.
It is put there to stop clockwatchers getting in at the last second and 'sniping' the auction.

As it says, the auction will not end until at least 15 mins has elapsed since the last bid, meaning my bid of 290 mil is the winning bid.

No it didn't because your bid was on 19:51 and my bid was before auction ended with sniper rule, so i won

sence he never really placed a bid for the 300 the winner would be..
Originally by: Faith No you didn't sniper rule in effect. 290 mil bid.
because the siper rule works as so.. 15 mins after the last bid or if the last bid was 15 mins under the end time..
faith bid at 19:51:00 9 mins before ending so auction got extended to 20:06:00 gameforce bid at 20:04:00 within the 15 min sniper rule so it got extended again to 20:19:00 faith bid again at 20:08:00 within the sniper rule and no one outbid her after she wins.

hope my post made things a bit clearer for you guys.. if not heres a simpler way to put it.. after every bid (that is within the 15 mins of the last bid) the time gets pushed another 15 mins.
