I didn't expect this to happen, I booked the flight and the hotel about a week ago but it ran me a little short so I figured I'd wait until I get payed on the 15th to buy the actual fanfest ticket and low and behold they are sold out now. What can I do? The flight and hotel are non-refundable... That's around a $2,200 whoopsie. I went last year and had a blast.
Any advice? I'm kind of depressed right now...

I just found out fanfest is sold out!!
I really really wanted to go for the first time this year.
I worked out the cost and have nearly saved up enough money for flights, hotel, etc.
I even booked this Saturday off work so I could go to the player gathering in London, where i planned to speak to other players and Devs about fanfest before booking my tickets.
It was going to be my first holiday for quite a few years.
Very disappointed now.
:(

If EVE does get a lot more players from DUST, will they even be able to hold fanfest at iceland anymore?
That is too bad, about missing the tickets. But at least you can still go to iceland, and feel bad. Be a true EVE experience.

when I logged into Eve last night, the little advertisement pop up said there were around a hundred tickets left. And this was around 8pm CDT. If they are out, and they advertised there were some left, something broke down in the communication chain.

Why? Valve made 100 of those companion cube plushies... I bought mine within 15 seconds of them going on sale and got #98 
*Edit: Also the great bacon festival in Iowa (go USA!!!!) sold out 8000 tickets in 3 minutes
