Im a old curse pilot and thus
Why the hell is Five and RA enemies ????
The thing is, i always belived in (x)CA ..
now old curse pilotes are at eachother throats, it make me sick !.
I know that old CA and the stuff that followed was not the best
we all could hope for (those within the fold) but damnit ..
some form of alligience should be followed.
I know .. im just a old grunt, and been idle for months, still
now its almost impossible for me to join a corp, without making
a old or old friends of mine mad, i have friends all over the **** place now.
and thats ok, but i dont want to kill someone who was old CA, and thats out
of respect !
Please .. Five and RED Alliance .. keep the peace, behold the history and keep the faith.

Dunno why.. but they are good fighters and its been mostly smack free fighting them.

Yeah i would think so, but still, is there no history to remember, is there no alligence to honour ? is eve only about killing?
It staggers me that Supremacy is at war with its old Ally !!!

It's a corp RA backed to fight us while pretending to be our friends. That is why there is a war.

not just backed, every Char in RAT had an alt or was an alt of pilots in RA.
RAT. was RA in every sense except that it attacked .5. and wasnt in the ingame alliance. RA pilots regularly scouted .5. positions for RAT. pilots, they flew in the same gangs, RA would set up a bubble and RAT. would camp it.
Essentially RA wanted to have their cake and to eat it too; protection for their miners while their PVPers ganked lone travellers.

RA have their tricks and flips, but as the history goes, i do not belive
they would do this, however, if Chow says its so, ill be packing my

Its just sad, really sad, that sutch good corps (Alliances) turn on each
other..
I will always be of the old CA, no matter, and i just wish that others
of my kind (xCA) would hold the the line, no matter the politics
U know what i mean !
(ps, could Chowdown, or Velious please give some clarity to my frantic
fog induced vision of brother vs brother)

ok, Avalon, sorry for semi-flaming you, but your name means nothing to
me, so therefore i took your post as usless.
Being backed up is a good thing, but still, i will only thrust this
if its from Chow himself.
Not that i expect him to post here at all, however, this just sucks bigtime :/
If i dont want to fight friends, where do i turn, stay in empire
or ... perhaps join the MC .. hehe :)

Hard to imagine your shock, but I can somewhat relate.
When CA broke up a lot of us did our best not to put ourselves on the opposite side of the fence from exCA buds. Unfortunately, the way things have played out has made it so.
HOWEVER! The bright side is that the fights between old exCA buds are among the best you will ever experience in Eve. The respect remains for the most part and so does the fun from the old days. So jump right in with the rest of us and get your guns heated up. A lot of those guys on the other side will still be your bud - only this time they are terrorist instead of counter-terrorist, or Axis instead of Allies, or whatever other game analogy you want to throw at it. A game is a game is a game. Keep that in mind (ignore the flames!!) and you'll be sailin' smooth.

I miss the days of the super alliances of ca xf, sa, etc. Many good times were had back then and the politics were minimal.

Yepp, you are right on m8 :) when i count my friends i end up with 4 factions, heh, so guess ill leave the old times behind and just have
some fun
@Ladyscarlet .. yeah i might have been going overboard with the "chow" thing,
or Velious for that matter, guess i posted out of frustration, and
out of sadness for times that was :/

RAT is not a part of RA , they are doing their own thing , the five just deluded them selfes to make an exuse to atack us , thats all.

Hi Dude,
To be honest if you want to drop me a convo I'll be happy to highlight the reasons the hostilities started in the most unbiased fashion I can. I would prefer not to go into the details on the forums. However the RAT corporation was an issue for many.
This does not change the fact that many are deeply sadenned to be fighting our oldest friends. However at least you can be assured of one thing, the russains know how to fight and although we are on the receiving end these days it at least proves entertaining.
New Shinra Kill system, please be patient were still ironing out the finer points!! |
