If you are using torps on this, you'll have noticed that the ruins seem hard to kill...your torps fly aimlessly around over the top of it and very rarely impact.
To prevent this, fly directly below the runis before fiting...the torps then impact as normal.
Has anyone ever seen the ruins drop anything anyway?

The ruins never dropped anything to me, but i have only done that mision about 10 times or little more

Best way to complete said mission... semi long range turret ship, stack it with dmg mods.. blow the sg's and all the spawns before they get anywhere near you.. should be able to whack the sg's, do the paracite and intercept any preds or marauders before you lose your sheild
Ruins... don't bother... run collect your lp, it's a pap mission.. hit the outpost mission for minerals.. don't bother with this one, it's a dud in comparison

MORE PROOF THAT POST PATCH TURRETS >>>> MISSILES. Missile users don't have this option as at all ranges on drones we are currently doing two tenths of sod all damage.

Its not a hijack.
You offered a tip and he offered a better one.
I understand you are peeved at the current state of affairs with missiles but spamming every thread is going to make peoples eyes glaze over.

Narr.. allways done it that way, you would have to be clueless to use a raven pre patch on that mission... turrets allways did it 2-3 times as fast, if for nothing else other than the flight time...
Even if your a solo guy, it made perfect sense to use turrets. Different ships, different situations... even before they twanged missiles, you had to have a very limited imagination if your only weapon of choice was a raven

Unless, of course, you're a Caldari pilot who specializes in missles - then you just got fu***ed. I, for one, am rather unhappy about the changes. They have completely and irrevocably changed every aspect of my game play. I now have to work within said limitations, or choose a faction/weapon I do not (or would prefer not) to use. That's pretty short-sighted, imo.

well although im major ****ed at the changes. its so unfair mainly to have to train new skills just to get back to where ya was. couldnt they have just did something else,anything but if when the skills are all maxxed trained and you can at least do fairly well then its not much of a big thing except the time i lost that i would have been training other skills during that time (like astro5 mining barge 5)
wish i could undo few months of caldari training in lieu of another race/gunnery skills i couldnt fight my way outta a wet paper box with gunnery skills atm

Deja...you missed the point...I was referring to the fact I was about to hijack my OWN thread.
