Yeah, i know that i likely to be killed before i fly there :) Just wanted to check this 0.0 things out.
I still can't believe in this stupidity: no ask for money, no looking for my info, nothing. Plain shooting. After that i convo them and answer was "This is our territory". LOL. Yeah, single shuttle is big threat for several BSs. Or it can stole their preciousss minerals or something? What they got by that podkill, can someone explain? Don't tell me it was fun, what fun can be in shooting shuttle?
PS: Is you guys reading this - j00 l00sers, cuz i managed to fly into your system, you catch me only when i trying to return :)

So if you knew you were likely to be killed why complain?
They killed you because they could. If that offends you get some friends and go kick their arses. Otherwise hush.

in 0.0 small fast things have goodies in most of the time, and are sooo much easer to kill than a BS full of good lewt. Its easer to pop everyone you can, as it takes little effort/time or ammo for potentaly alot in return (BPS, faction mods etc)

I'm not complaining, i'm trying to understand why they do it? And sure i kick their arses lil bit later (5 days playing, not enuf skills now).

It's not very stupid at all actually. The vast majority of characters in noob corps in 0.0 are spies, so it makes sense to kill them on sight, no? This is what claiming space is all about, you expect them to just let you wander about in their space?

A shuttle can fit 1000 units of zydrine. Thats 4mill ISK.
Anyway, you lost a 10k shuttle and a cheap clone (dont forget to buy a new clone)
You have now seen some of 0.0 and know to take precautions next time.
Consider the +-12k cost the price of experience. If you get so wound up over losing a ship you are in for a lot of lows in this game. It can be very harsh but wonderfully rewarding too.

Well, this explain something. But if i do little thinking - there is another question - why some rich player will fly in to 0.0 on shuttle with thing that cost lot of isks?

I hate alts, but still i will answer.
Every single Account, can have 2 nub alts and use it for scouting. The indentity for alts are unknown and so are their interests when flying with a shuttle in 0.0 territory.
They can be
a.) newcomer, not knowing wtf they are doing b.) newcomer, who want to see the badlands at least once c.) alt char, from a hostile character, who want to scout defense or make instant bm
Now if you are the one in a BS you can now choose
a.) let him pass, he is no harm atm. but he can be c.) and scout what kind of ship you are in and come back later or log in with another char waiting for the right time to relaese your soul from your hard earned vessel. You will loose several millions, whil shooting and killing an alt only cause minonr financal backdraws b.) kill him on sight and be sure, he will not be a harm in near feature
No choose. I for my part am choosing b.) any time. Iam not there to loose my ship because i cared shooting a alt/newcomer.
Most newcomer will convo you anyway and ask why you killed them. I explain them politly and give them 100k isk for their loss sometimes. Everyone understood after a shot convo, why i killed him.
Also wont convo me anyway and it wont bother me more, than i used a few shells to remove them instantly.
Once i encountered an alt in a Brutix. He wasnt killed by me, even considering the above, because i thought him beeing a poor guy not knowing, in what trouble he was. I escorted him out without harm, but told him, that he was lucky and this is not the normal procedure, for removing corpless characters from space.
You see, the bigger you ship, the more like you could be escorted out instead of been blown away instantly. Remember, thats not necessary a green card, but a hint.
Anything not worth a million isk or interceptors, will be shot on sight. _____________________________________ Dead or Alive

Hmm...interesting. I was shot down just less than a month old in the game when trying out a 0.3 system. All I had in mind was hunting rats in the 0.3 system asteroid belts. Came a BS shot me down when I was about to leave the station, funny thing is I wanted to convo him...but didn't since it's a low sec system. Then I checked that guy's info and found out he's having a -9.5 security =/ Kinda wasting time to ask why he shot me if you ask me after seeing such info...but this is 0.3 and the one you're reffering is 0.0 system. Sometimes, just ignore it if it's not so much of a losses...just experience how it is then in the future learn from it and understand how low sec system can be nasty :)

An alt spie can be dangerous to fleets as they can get number of pilots in local, corps, scan for ship types and also make bookmarks when noone is around.

I was killed myself when i was jumping out of 0.0 and when my client quit to windows... and when i got back i was in a POD.... that was funny.. some mfo with humongous ship just had little fun.. but i still dont feel like naggin.. (cause i dont think it would give my ship back)... you dont try to get your ship back (or are you)

about spying-you didn't see everything on the way in. a spy in this game is not for scouting the system, you can pull up that info on any system anywhere from anywhere, but instead to see who is in what ship. It doesn't take a genius to realize that while there are, say, five pilots at a gate, those pilots could be in any meriad of ships meaning that using a spy or the scanner could be the difference between success and falure for your team.
For example: if you have a alt spy and he says that the gate campers have 5 bs's, you would be unlikely to engage in your squad of (for example) 6 cruisers. but, if the gate showed 5 pilots all in t1 frigs, you would be much more likely for you to engage. This, i beleave, was the original reasoning behind destroying neutrals, because as soon as that pilot is dead, any new info (like the shiptypes of an additional 2 pilots jumping in) is denied to him. Now, its also possible that as gatecampers these people were quite bored-some gate camps dont have anything to shoot at for an hour or more, and they were bored. Its the equiviliant of target practice: see if you can kill the shuttle before he gets out. Something not possible for all bs pilots/loadouts.
Hope this helps.
