Originally by: Witch Doctor It is a penetrating line of logic that you have set forth, Xavian.
Your whole sermon was not a display of logic but wishfull thinking. We have ruled the Matari for hundreds of years and will continue to do so - the rebellious minority will accept that their uprising against god's will is futile as your leaders have. The Empire could also just outlive your 'freedom fighter' movement. You will be forgotten in a couple of years - the Empire will endure.

Minority?
hah! You leave in a dream world slaver. But then again, you are a slaver, and if this thread has proved anything, it is that your kind are completly incapable of reasoned argument.

Quote: The largest proportion, almost a third, are enslaved within the huge Amarr Empire...
Isn't that what you usually shout here in the summit, too? Most of the citizens of your 'republic' don't seem to be overly eager to pick up arms and go invade Amarr to 'free' their brethren as long as their basic needs are fullfilled. In my book that makes you a minority.

I assume they dont teach you terrorists how to count so that you will think you have a chance.
1/3 in Amarr, something like 1/4 in minnie space 1/4 in gallente and the rest scattered around like the Thukkers and PRM. So in essence the entire Minmatar republic is a minority of your people. A substantial one perhaps, but a minority the same.
Now let us take the 2/3rds that arent under Amarran control. Of those the bulk are living peacefully in the Amarr and Gallente Empires. I dont honestly think they care what happens to people they dont know in Amarr. I mean Im sure if you asked them, they would state they want them free. That said, you can be damned sure that if it came to sacrificing their hard earned money in taxes to support a mass of unwashed newly freed slaves, that they would be up in arms... especially those living with the Gallente.
So that leaves you as your recruitment pool the small part of the Republic's population that is not content with peace. And then the renegade groups like the Thukkers. Of course from what I have seen, the Thukkers dont really care much either. They are more interested in going their own way and doing their own thing rather than challengeing an empire that could crush them like a bug.
So that gives you what, a pool of maybe 5% at maximum of all free matari to draw from for recruits in your futile little war? That is definitely a minority.
Now that is a substantial enough minority that you are able to keep your ships running with crew, but you are faceing down the outright Majority of Amarrans.
Think about it slaver, for every matari you recruit there will be more than ten Amarrians willing to join a Paramilitary or Navy fleet if things actually get to the point where you even appear as a threat.
So in the long run you really cant win this, even if only by simple attrition you will lose eventually no matter how well you succeed now.

It is only a matter of time. The population sympathetic to your terrorist cause dwindles every time you lose any ship larger than a frigate, regardless of whom you lose it to. Maybe your thousands of crew are volunteers totally loyal to your cause that understand the risks involved. I hope they are, for your sake.
Otherwise you're risking and indeed ending the lives of thousands of politically indifferent (innocent) minmatar for the sake of your extremist and minority view that violent action must be taken. All for the sake of... Hm. I really don't know. How many slaves do you actually manage to free on your average foray into Amarr space?
Maybe, should we decide to emancipate the minmatar we hold, there'll be plenty of room in the Republic for them after all. You seem to be having a very good go at depopulating it.

History comes full circle. Wasn't this what happened in the aftermath of the Battle of VakÆAtioth? When you finally decided the Jovians 'appeared a threat' you gathered together your great forces, believing your combined fleets could take on the Jovians.
And then we rebelled.
At the height of your readiness, at the high point of your empire, with bloodlust in your collective hearts, the Minmatar struck and broke free.
You were greater than you are now. Your size does not scare us, the foundation of your empire still rests upon the rock-like strength of our people. The ground below you shook once. These current rumblings are warnings of a far greater quake to come.
It has been suggested by Witch Doctor that the Amarr leave the space they claim, surrendering it to those who deserve it. I believe this would be best. I could loan you a mammoth for your trip to Omist. You can return it filled with letters of apology for the men and women who have endured your tyranny. To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. |

We didn't loose a crippling amount of ships to the Jovians - it was a morale desaster, not a real military one. The Amarrian fleet, undisputed victor on battlefields throughout the galaxy for centuries suffered a defeat. The timing of your little revolt was, by chance, excellent.

Uhm Tharrn, we Minmatar then drove you back. That speaks of many other defeats, does'nt it? The fact is that each day your empire crumbles from within, be it those that see the truth changing sides, houses revolting and stating their own empires, civil unrest in your faith, aka Tetrimon, or someone assassinating your leaders.
While this happens our strength grows, as can be witnessed by our flying about in Amarr space unhindered. The Golden fleet that was undefeatable is now very defeatable. Even against the Blood Raiders, though accomplishing the mission it was done at a terrible cost. The Amarr Empire is in it's twilight, but all things must end sometime or another.

It is however good that you keep deluding yourself about how powerful you are, please contiune in that path. __________________________________________________ To fight wars you need weapons, to make weapons you need to build and to build you have to be a scientist.

You have been raiding us ever since the rebellion. We still have slaves. You have made no difference to the population in slavery within Amarr space.
You are as some parasitic insect biting the back of a lion.
You achieve nothing.
Your bleatings are meaningless.

Edited by: Vordor on 23/07/2005 14:41:00 Ahh my good man have you ever seen ants demolish forests? Devastating anything and everything in their paths? if not try 2 retrieve ancient films from earth and you will be amazed by how much power a tiny ant can do in groups.
We have freed many, i am one. My parents paid the price for my freedom with their lives but me and hundreds of my brothers were freed. I honor their sacrifice and their debt will be paid in Amarr blood.
Again just keep deluding yourself with your power. Even lions can be killed easily with the right tactics. __________________________________________________ To fight wars you need weapons, to make weapons you need to build and to build you have to be a scientist.

What is this Earth you speak of? Is it the planet of vice and corruption that our ancestors escaped from? If so, how is it that you seem to have found access to media in a format that has not been read in around twenty thousand years?
As for your comment, you may free many, but one thing that is certain is that the cost you buy them at is incredibly high.
Do you realise Terrorist that with every battleship you lose you commit over five thousand of your allies to either death or slavery? Your allies think that because the paramilitaries have taken casualties that they are beggining to win. That their raids are beggining to make a difference. What they fail to understand is that Amarr could afford to lose every single Paramilitary pilot and crew in service and be just fine. Can the same be said for the terrorist cause?
Even if the results were as one sided as Sarkos seems to think they are, you would have no chance. That he is calling the battle won prematurely only makes your eventual defeat more certain.

It is clear you lowlives have little grasp of the facts, nor the wisdom to simply accept the status quo, cut your losses, and embrace the inevitable.
Despite your best efforts on the path of violence, we still hold more slaves now than ever. It is a battle you simply cannot win. You fight God's will, and as such, you are doomed. If you would only realise that if you lay down your arms and surrender, all this suffering for the sake of your delusions would stop.
Your trials and subsequent executions will be mercifully swift, the end result will be the same, and less of your species would have to die. You are your species' own worst enemy.
Do not make the mistake of thinking I actually care about your fate, though. To me, you are undeserving of life in any form, enslaved or otherwise. You are base creatures devoid of reason or morality. You would have been purged entirely, but for the word of God, which suggests we should be battering some kind of sense into you.

Edited by: Vordor on 23/07/2005 19:20:45 You never fail to surprise me Amarr..... you are so tied up in your own lies you actually start to believe them.
Who would have thought we could revolt? u slept in your beds thinking how powerful you are yet we broke free. You deluded yourself and underestimated the Jovians and you paid the price and please enough lying on the morale defeat. For once stop changing facts and face the truth.
Delude yourself that your mighty empire is invincible. Delude yourself how weak we are and delude yourself about being god's chosen race.
We grasp reality as it is; you grasp reality the way you want it to be. I do hope to meet as many Amarrians as possible; I will make sure they see the truth in the second before they die by my hands and realize that god will condemn them for their atrocities.
As for grasping reality enough has been said about that. If any 1 cant grasp reality its you. __________________________________________________ To fight wars you need weapons, to make weapons you need to build and to build you have to be a scientist.

Interesting. I remember your 'freedom fighting' brothers calling for Midular's head and rejecting the 'Republic', I see scattered tribes like the Thukker, the other tribes are constantly at the brink of war. And you try to paint the picture of a strong and united people all the time.
I guess the 'republic'is in it's twilight then - but all things must end sometime or another, right?

Unlike you, we find our strength in the diversity of the tribes. We have no dictatorial Theology Council, which plays god by punishing the slightest hint of dissent. Yes, we believe that the Republic should be more concerned with the fate of our enslaved brothers and sisters, and we make no secret of that. But Midular's head is only wanted metaphorically -- we want her to be replaced by someone more aligned with our goals.
We prefer to leave the violent forms of succession to you "more civilized" types.

No, filth, it was a rhetorical statement based on observation in this thread and in others. More to the point, I said I would ignore inflamatory responses not based on established fact or reasonable assumption. I did not preclude myself from making them. I have chosen not to make any.
