The TV Monitors that are in place at the stargates to give players info, what would be the chances of actually having corps advertise on them for a BIG Price ? say for example advertising their cheap MOA Cruisers or for employment... Just a thought
Also (this may sound really daft) trucks have advertising curtains on them, well how about a similar feature for the ships ? Obviously the shape of them could be a problem, but how about a long banner attatched to the end so it floats behind! (call me crazy)

Player owned ship-towed adverts is such a wonderfully stupid idea! It love it!
Potential problem with space **** though.

yes thats true, open to all sorts of corruption, but there could be some kind of Advertising Body that checks the adverts before they go out ?
That way no such material would leave, and the members of the Advertising Body get a nice cut of ISK for their wallet :D

LOL!, you could vary the decency and cost of the advertising based on the security level of the system you're in!

I don't know if you have seen this, but on one side of all the billboards, there is a scrooling LED-display which says: "This space for rent" - So my guess is that theese boards WILL be available for public advertising.

I like it alot...
esp the idea that 0.0 space could have ****o ads hehe err I mean very inappropriate!
I think the ad ships should be npc though, just think of those big silly looking trucks that are basically mobile bill boards. They would follow random routes like regular convoy ships and people could see their advertisements.
I also wish billboards showed the real wanted list of players.. or does it, like one of the above posters (maby on a diff thread) I'm somewhat drunk..
