Mom 'n' Pop Ammo Shoppe is once again seeking out some of Eve's greatest pilots to join our family. We're calling out to those who are looking to have fun playing the game and do so with friends. We accomodate a lot of professions and experience levels, miners and combat pilots, newbies and vets. We can help you succeed in many areas of gameplay. However, those who fit in best are those with a good attitude and willingness to try many areas of the game.
Our Corp Our corp is a fairly balanced operation with strictly anti-pirate stances. We do a lot of different things, from mining and missions to PvP and POS operation. Although, our members have plenty of freedom to pursue their own goals, we are NOT a freelancing corp. We work together with our members to try and ensure that we have fun doing things that we enjoy. There are corp goals and we encourage our members to help toward achieving those goals. We believe that teamwork is essential to succeeding in Eve and we encourage that with all our members.
Location Ingame, we are based primarily out of the Tash-Murkon Region, with our corp HQ in Tash-Murkon Prime. However, our business carries us a great many places, including operations in 0.0 space. We do like new members being involved with us so we encourage personal bases of operation be near as well.
Out of Game, our corp members are primarily North American. We cover all the US timezones, from the east coast to Alaska. Most of our members are 20+ years old, however there are no minimum age requirements for members.
If you are interested, contact myself or Katjia ingame for more details. You can also check out our website and say hello on our forums.
Mom 'n' Pop Ammo Shoppe
We will be glad to help you find your place in Eve, hopefully with our corp. Look forward to hearing from you.

I've seen the Ammo Shop guys around the Tash Murkon area and talked to a few of them. They're a class act and a good group of people who know how to have fun and treat people with respect. I recommend them highly.

This Corp has a long history. I remember running into them a few times when they were PA. Not the worlds best fighters but organised and dedicated. This is truely a balanced corp and comes HIGHLY recommended.

I have known most of these guys and girls for going on two years and I couldnĘt ask for a better group of people to waste countless hours with mining or sitting at a gate hunting bad guys. The corporation is always loyal to its members the team work and esprit de corps is always high in every situation.
If you want to advance in the game and have a lot of fun doing it our corp. is probably for you.

Well, we weren't ever in PA.... more like in PA space. I'm sure we shot at some of you guys at some point though. But nonetheless thanks for the recommendation.
I'm kinda impressed that some of our enemies think well enough of us to recommend our corp. Not sure if they just want more targets to shoot at..... Bring on the cannon fod....err new members...
Well, at least we'll have fun, right!

Edited by: Katjia on 22/07/2005 09:12:52 lets see here ahh yes.. some things we done today with new guys to eve..for the most part. chased some baddies around 0.0 for a bit.afterwards split up for a bit(needed food) then took frigs to go hunt rats in 0.0. thats right a new guy went to 0.0 lived and is having a blast shooting stuff in a frig. Thats why i like this corp so much no matter what skill or type of ship you are in ther is a way to have fun. Thats the point of playing this game right ..to have fun. With the support and experience of this corp you are almost garunteed a good time...not to mention the family attitude we have in our corp. mom n pop 4tw :P

A bit of advice for all new/potential recruits. After you join our corp, I highly recommend that when you first meet Hans Gates in game you should either be in your most tanked ship or a shuttle...and be sure your clone is updated. Hans has this nasty fetish of inducting our recruitees.

See... there are people in the corp that like being in it. Don't be afraid not ALL of us bite.
We've gotten contacts from a few folks but we're still looking for more new members. Give us a shout, we may be just what you're looking for in a corp.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones then. Back when I joined, he didnt nail me...
Anyhoo, this is one great corp. Not much into the whole piracy thing (unless you count Kat and his convoys)..but fun pvp and great teamwork. Above all, they let you do what you want to do 90% of the time.
Note: all the above statments are based on the corp 5 + months ago..dunno how the do it now..but I doubt they would change such a great corp.
PS: Marcus, lets talk ammo. I want some in Passari. Large and Med projo if possible...convo me ingame.

I just want to point out a couple items that we tend to overlook in our recruitment threads. In addition to the PvPing, manufacturing, mining, trading, mission, and pirate hunting, we also have a great time:
- Teaming up to do complexes in 0.0 space. You think lvl 4 missions require teamwork, wait till you run with us through a gauntlet of 10-12 battleships with multiple cruiser and frigate support, all of which is lead by some of the meanest NPC officers you'll ever fight. We'll employ logistic support, EW support, anti-frigate pilots, and haulers. There is always a role for someone.
- Stealing ships. I'm talking about a good team of scouts, scanners, scan-probe users, and covert-ops pilots that'll comb system by system looking for "hidden" remote pirate field bases where we can find ships parked in space free for the taking. In fact, we built up a fleet of haulers that were all "reacquistioned" from some of the pirates who thought they could operate out of a remote system.

Yeah, we still want folks to join our corp. Others have already taken the plunge, will you be next? Talk to us and find out. We really do have a good corp.
And Niaski, you should know that we don't sell ammo to pirates... old friends who happen to have -10 sec status, maybe, but not pirates.

ahhhhh....crazy psycho rifters orbiting a true lord spawn in 0.0 while shooting it with rockets and webbing it....doesnt get any better than that. i joined this corp thru my nonspelling friend kat and i couldnt have ask for a better corp. the only thing i think we dont do is pirate. one great thing about this corp is they can make anything including mining fun. and the thing jezala said about the corp member shooting everybody....dont worry...i think hes still stuck on shooting me

Great corp.
I've been fighting these guys for a while, and have to say I'm impressed.
IMO, these guys are a great bunch who always work together. True, I would classify them as a industrel corp, but they are certainly not carebears. Everytime I see one of them, I know that eventually I will get a fight. Not your typicall industral corp, these guys will protect thier own and give you a stand up fight.
I also have to mention, you very rarely see these guys alone. They work together all the time. And rest assured that you will be working in a team nearly all the time. Unlike most corps, this is not one which is esentually a bunch of people sharing a channel. They act like a corp, and do things together.
Best of luck with the recrutiing guys. Bring me more targets and more fights.

I must say i joined this corp about a week ago and so far it has been a blast. This corp is highly helpful to new players and they do just about everything. In this one week ive seen mining operations, pvp, and pve complex runs in 0.0. If anyone is looking for a corp that is friendly and likes to do things together this is the one!

I usually never post on the forums, but these guys deserve it. I have only had 2 encounters with them, but I can tell you, if you catch 2-3 in system and try to pin them in, you had better watch your back, because more are coming. It may take a while, and they may not be the most organized, but they look after each other, and that is what it takes. Never under estimate them. Good luck in your recruiting.

I would also like to put in a good word for Mom'n'Pop:
They are funny. Really funny. Even when doing fairly boring things they are a good bunch of folks to chat to, even if you happen to be shooting at them.
They do things as groups, and have a good time doing it. They obviously care about each other and support one another. This is a rarity in most corps.
They fly with honor, and like a good fight. You can count on them to honor 1v1's. When one pilot is in trouble, they dont just warp out and leave him. They stay to fight it out and try to save him. Fairplay as well.
All in all, a good group of people. I may shoot at them, but I respect and appreciate them too. Can't say that of everyone.

Yuuuuuuup! Nice folks who work together and have fun in Eve. Not at all reluctant to put up a fight when they're crossed, and they fight with honor, as noted above. As a former adversary I recommend them.

Good words from friends are expected.Good words from enemies count more because they are earned in the battlefield. These guys earned it,so i will add my own words of praise to what my alliance mates just said.
I don't know too much about them, but from the amount of time we fought against them i can 100% agree with what Nyxus said.We took down a small POS of theirs at one point, they stood their ground and kept shooting at us from inside the shield, until no more could be done to save it.
At that point someone made a comment in ventrillo: "I almost feel bad that i'm shooting these guys.I wish some of the big pvp corps had their kind of attitude"
They make decisions and stand their groung regardless of consequences, and they never abandon their own.

Necromancy 4TW!!!
I spent 25 mins searching for this thread b/c someone last night was asking where it went...well it was buried under 26 pages of recruitment threads.
SHOP has continued to grow and expand since the previous post in this thread. We've merged (or absorbed depending how you look at it) with a great corp and added some great peeps to have fun with. Everything above still holds true and in some cases we've expanded in those areas...such as ammo production and delivery via transport or the front end of a 425.
Got questions then post them here or contact us in game.
