Every 5 minutes my screen flickers and my camera drone zooms out to infinity and I can not reset it unless I dock, log or jump.
I have been having a problem with Eve since March of this year. I thought the latest patch would solve this is issue but it appears to get worse. I sent in a petition when it first started but I got the typical auto-reply (install new drivers bullcrap). So installed all current drivers and still have the problem.
My system is:
WinXP SP2
AMD 2.5 Athalon
1 Gigz Ram
Azus AN7X motherboard with Nvidia sound card
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro Video Card
Net Gear Wireless Router
Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.
I have installed old drivers, new drivers, reinstalled Eve, etc etc. I have followed all the removal steps etc etc and still I get nada. I even redownloaded Eve and installed it.
Does anyone out there have any idea how to fix it or have experienced your Camera Drone zooming out and you cant zoom back???

I had a similar problem but it occured only when TeamSpeak was running.
The autocheck at HP said I had the current soundard driver, as did the manufacturers website. I eventually reinstalled the driver anyways and this solved the problem.
Since you have reinstalled the drivers i'm not sure what you can do.

Reinstalled sound driver and still does the same thing. I wish the camera drone had a maximum range of 500km so I can see whats around me when it does zoom out.

I have this problem, again.
Before it was months ago (months before Cold War patch) on Win2K SP4. It went away one day. Had a corpmate who had the same problem, went away around the same time. Dunno if it was patch related or not.
I've recently reformatted (WinXP SP2) and I've got the #@$%! problem again.

Had a little chit chat with a GM(petition for those who see conspiracy theories everywhere). Go to Teamspeak sound options and change it to wave instead of Direct. Seems there are problems with Direct sounds.
