Hi all! I've recently returned to EVE after an 8 month absence and I'm looking for a FUN corp with friendly players that would be a good fit for a casual part-time player(I'm sorry but I'm just not a hardcore player with alot of spare time...in R/L I'm age 43 and I keep pretty busy here in Detroit, Michigan USA).
I have over 20 mil SP(over 5 mil SP in gunnery & over 3 mil SP in drones) and I'm a pretty good long range rat hunter(You won't see me in battleships though...too expensive for a part-time player...I'm a tech 1 Gallente frigate & cruiser pilot).
I don't want to be tied down to a certain division/job within a corp as I prefer to do a VARIETY of things in EVE: I like rat hunting & running lvl 3 agent missions & occasional mining. Despite all my combat skills, I don't have alot of PvP experience but I would definitely like to participate in/learn more PvP. I would also like to try grouping up for some lvl 4 missions(if that's even possible in a cruiser?) If I play enough, I might even be able to accumulate enough wealth to be able to move up to more expensive tech 2 ships(particularly interceptors, assault ships, destroyers & maybe even battlecruisers...I pretty much have most of the pre-requisite skills already).
I wish to be a good guy/anti-pirate and since I enjoy the political aspects of EVE, I would prefer to join a corp that is in an alliance.
I'm not much of a typist, so it would be a plus to join a corp that uses Teamspeak or Ventrillo.
Finally(and most importantly), my new corp MUST have excellent internal communication amongst it's employees via regular corp EVE-mail updates from management to the employees or via web site updates/announcements. Top notch communication is a must for part-time players, as we need to be kept up to date and "in the loop" with corporate/alliance happenings. It stinks to find out about an important corp/alliance personnel change or policy shift a couple of weeks after the fact by accidentally stumbling across the news via a third party post on the EVE forums!(I've been in alliances where members weren't even sent a courtesy corp EVE-mail informing employees that a fellow corp has left the alliance or that a new corp has joined the alliance or even that we have a new enemy[negative standing but not yet war] corp)! Poor communication is my pet peeve!
If any recruiters think that I would be a good fit in your corp, please reply in this thread and/or send me an in-game EVE-mail.

You sound like the perfect member for the Aegis Syndicate. We meet your requirements, and I am a stickler for keeping all my people 'in the loop' If I know about it, so does everyone in the corp if I can help it.
Our corp does all kinds of combat, PvE and PvP.
The FREGE Alliance also seems to be running on the same principles, information is power, so it needs to be in the right hands. 
0.0 space is being planned soon, though we are not yet operating in it.

You seem to fit in right with us
were the good guys / anti [pirate, allways have been. we have a lot of high sp / expireienced but also avarage skilled players, we look after our own and we enjoy teamwork
we are UK as well asd US timezone based
We use TS, and mainly our forum as communications base

Hi Zaris,
We are a lax corporation, predominantly industrial. We have a good bunch of "active" members who are always helping each other out, with a good sense of humour. We do missions, mining operations, rat chasing, the lot. Just like you, we are wanting to do more, so you would be very welcome to join the bandwagon. We have our own website, forum site and we use TS. Our members are based in the americas, europe and australasia regions. If you would like to know more, please join the "IBM" channel (in game) or evemail me so we can answer any questions you may have. You would be welcome to fit into the corporation. And i don't think you'd be the oldest person on the corporation should you join...

Have us a Look Over.
We do pvp, we mine, and we also have several members who can solo lvl 4 missions, if u want to go out and do some with them. We are a "casual" and dont demant much of our members. So you can go out and do anything that your heart wants in this wonderful game of eve. You Stated that you want a corp which has great internal communication. With that said, our corp just hit the age of 2 years old, which was made possible with a good internal structure. We also have 0.0 access if your interested and are members of the ASCN

Wow....so far I've received about a dozen responses from many quality corps both in this thread & via in-game eve-mail! More responses from additional corps are certainly welcome, however. Don't be angry if I haven't contacted you yet...I want to make sure that our decision is the correct one. My nephew & I are going to have a tough time deciding!

We are US Natives and have a few people here from Michigan ourselves. We hope we can get you guys to join our corp as we are looking for new members. Only code we have is that if it's blue, you don't shoot it, everything else is fair game.

I am also challenged by RL and not able to be online like I used to be 20 years ago and that is why our internal forums are always filled with the latest info.

Because I've been away from the game for approx 8 months, I've spent the last few days reading the forums and researching corps & alliances in order to get a feel for the current in-game political situations. I am starting to get excited about EVE again & I hope to make my decision & pick a corp to join soon(hehe...soon...I guess I stole that one from CCP).
