Looking at the Caldari Crow, Vs the Amarr Crusader, the Crow's stats are so far beneith the Crusaders. I realize they are ment to be used differently (energy turrets vs missiles), but the numbers are just so un-even.
Crusaders 425 structured vs Crows 250
Crusaders 425 Armor vs the Crows 175
..............(850).............................(425)
the 375 shield for the crow over the 175 shield on the crusader just doesn't seem to make up for it. (200 difference)
Crusader is faster (important for a cepter), stronger propulsion strength, smaller signature radious.
The crow does have some advantages like and extra 10km targeting range, and a few others, but it doesn't seem to make up for it's weaknesses.
I am new to the PVP thing, and just getting into cepters, so if anyone can clue me in as to why the crow is so under powered, please do.

The crow can sit at 25+km and actually hit?
Been testing it with a corpmate quite a bit lately. The Crows got a RIDICULOUS amount of range for a Frig now.

You may try to fit a webber, a scrambler and a MWD at the same time on a Crusader. My Crusader got a friggin range of 2700m. Web me and im gone. :-/

the crow deals pwn dmg with rockets that always hit at a range crusader does only moderate dmg with uv or infrared crystals in its dual light beams

yes it will hit and if you want to do OK DAMAGE the crusador pilot has to sit still and let you beat on him for a few minutes without warping or mwding

With radio they only do 21km range and even putting a teacking enhancer t2 on they only get 23km which not worth wasting a slot on.

Yes with only a weeks training up on the right new missile skills. Plus the missiles can hit for 135-138dmg (I do in mine) thanks to the frig bonuses.
