Critical Mass Enterprises (CME)
About us
Critical mass has now been around since beta and has evolved through different stages to become what we are today. We offer a home for new and veteran members alike.
Our ideals
Our corporation is based on a close team style of play with every member working for the corporation and helping each and every other member out. The main goal of our corporation is to make our corporation great.
Every member is expected to do the same job as any other, for us this system has worked and has held true through our time in beta and now in retail.
Our leadership works on the same lines as any corporation, they ultimately have to make the decisions, but ideas are brought before the corporation and are discussed before they are finally put into action. Our directors work just as hard (if not harder) than any other member in the corporation and contribute just as much (if not more).
Every member knows that what work they do goes to advancing the corporation and as such helps improve every member of the corp.
What we do in game?
We have fun and talk but when it comes to activity in game we are miners, traders, producers and military. Not all members generalise their character, and we do not ask them to, but we do ask for every member to help and put work into each division.
Our miners are our backbone as we do not buy anything we cannot make, and do not spend isk away on items that we cannot produce. We have a healthy collection of blueprints that allow us to supply and keep up to date with market trends as they develop and keep our corporation with a technological advantage over most others.
The production is normally done by a select few, namely the directors and people who have earned the respect of the corporation and so are granted access to be able to research or produce items for the cause.
Each and every member is also trained in the arts of war. We have practice runs and real damage is dealt. We understand that certain people are not cut out for combat life, but we attempt to equip them with everything we can, to deal with the harsh realities of the Eve Universe, and allow them to survive longer than most.
We are trying to create a fun and active life for our member and we can honestly say that we have not always succeeded but that does not mean we give up.
Why join us?
We are a well-established corporation and have some very good ties to other corporations in game. We have made some enemies, but far more friends. We also offer good benefits for our corporation members as each member works for the whole and as such helps to develop the corporation. We supply each member with the tools they need to do their work and have fun in the game of eve, be this equipment, ships, or expensive skills.
What can we do for new players?
We can give you a leg up in the world of eve and help you with the basics and make you welcome. We offer advancements that you may not be able to reach on your own. We can teach you some of the tools and hints in eve that are not always known by new players (or even veterans). Please also be aware that we do not shy away from PvP combat, if necessary, and we will always come to the aid of corporation members in distress. We also offer training in PVP combat, as not all new players are sure of them selves. We have teams that can train you and help you to better understand how to defend your self if the inevitable happens and you get attacked.
What can we do for veterans?
We are able to offer you quite a stable environment where every one works for the whole. We also offer you hard working and dedicated teammates to play along side. We also have like-minded people that will work well and can be true allies. Our average age group is quite high and the young members we do have are nice and levelheaded.
If you want an environment where you do not have to train or tell people how to use items or are just sick of being a solo player then we can help.
Rules we stand by when and if you apply :
1) Every member must be active to receive any sort of equipment from the corporation. There will also be a probation period before we upgrade any ships you are in.
2) Any items you bring with you to the corporation and any isk you have is yours. Critical Mass Enterprises will not ask or expect anything to be handed over.
(Note: donations are welcome and items shared amongst comrades is very appreciated)
3) We also ask that anyone wanting to apply must submit to an interview process. We ask for applicants to download and use Team Speak (www.teamspeak.org).
If you do not have Team Speak or are on a slow connection please let us know and we may be able to organise something for you.

About the Military
CME's Military Division is a force deeply rooted in tradition, order, and discipline. It is a place where veteran combat specialists can hone their skills against each other, and also a place where new players can be taught the necessary combat skills.
Purpose of the CME Military
The CME Military Division was created to protect our members and interests from the growing threats in EvE. From providing escorts to our industrials, to HQ defense from attacking enemies.
Why join the CME Military?
We are a formidable force to be reckoned with, backed by the corporation's other divisions. The corporation owns a healty collection of blueprints which allows us to replace ships, weapons, and ammo on the fly. We are involved in combat quite often and do rigorous training. Even non-military personal are trained with the necessary survival skills.
What can we do for new players?
If you are tired of getting slapped around by the more veteran players, or don't know much about combat but would like to learn. Then the CME Military is for you, we will equip and train you in the arts of war. We will teach you about the many ships, weapons and modules out there, and help you create your own setup and combat style.
What can we do for veterans?
If you want some real experienced combat veterans to hone your skills with, or someone who knows what their talking about to discuss tactics, setups, and the likes with. Then the CME Military is for you, the military has veterans that have been doing combat ever since early beta, and have participated in countless battles.

our corp uses team speak. we find this is great for combat and keeping in contact and you can relay information quicker then you could if you typed it.
trying to hold an interview by typing is a pain it goes alot quicker and we find easier if we can talk to you.
it is not a 100% requirement we have people in our corp who do not have mics but it does not stop them comming into team speak and getting information they need.

You allow veterans to roll into the military wing or do they too have to prove themselves first in the mining wing?

vets are more then welcome in military in fact they tend to be the best sort. not shying away from a PvP fight.
as for race we accept many we have a few dark ammarians.
as for ships we have many a type we like to mix and match depending on where and what we are going up against.

I don't recall blockades at all. Poitot was like most other things. It wasn't a cme force as i recall, I think it was a sector force made up of 2 cme ships plus several other corp ships. If my memory serves me correctly.

In all honesty, we are here to have fun, eve is a place for us to enjoy ourselves, not work a second job, a little immature at times, yes, but we never get out of line and we get our corp goals done when one is set.
As for the bickering in the post against our own members, as you can see vyp and omber were joking with me about bumping when in fact they were using it as an excuse to re-bump. Well you guys better be...or else

Critical Mass Enterprises (CME) is now hiring
CME are looking to hire corporations to mine for us. If your corporation is specifically aimed at procuring minerals, or if you are looking for a source of income you may be interested. If no single corporation can procure all the minerals required, we may hire multiple corporations.
The weekly volume we are looking for will be as follows:
Tritanium 25,500,000
Pyerite 6,500,000
Mexallon 1,600,000
Isogen 400,000
Noxcium 100,000
The prices we offer for these minerals are:
Tritanium 1 isk
Pyerite 5 isk
Mexallon 17 isk
Isogen 65 isk
Noxcium 256 isk
These are our starting prices and will increase gradually. This is not a one off order, we wish for these orders to be met each week and for the minerals to be delivered to our production plant in the Sinq Laison Region.
Please note that these prices are higher then NPC prices on most counts and are a great deal higher then Player corporations are willing to buy for.
Other Benefits
For corporations who choose to work full time for us we will put our production blueprints to use for you. What this means is that we will produce and make any items we have blueprints for (we have a list of well over 100 including most top line cruisers and a battleship) for base mineral cost. Once our orders have been filled, we will build any item requested if you supply the minerals. This will only be available to long standing suppliers (1 month of orders) and not to the general public.
The other benefit to this deal is that if you supply our weekly requirements of minerals, we will not purchase our needed minerals from anyone else. That means if we need more than our usual weekly requirement, we will come to you first.
Notes:
The orders must be met each week. If a large corporation decides to take the job no public orders will be placed and sales will happen to that one corp.
If one corporation decides to take this job on you will be asked to sign a waver that if you do not meet the required minerals in time we can terminate your contract and look for other suppliers.
The weekly value of this contract is equal to:
Tritanium 25,500,000 @ 1isk = 25.5mil
Pyerite 6,500,000 @ 5isk = 32.5mil
Mexallon 1,600,000 @ 17isk = 27.2mil
Isogen 400,000 @ 65isk = 26mil
Noxcium 100,000 @ 256isk = 25.6mil
= grand total of 136.8mil

Might be interested in joining CME.
I'm currently on vacation - no access to EVE untill the 10th this month.
Wonder if you could send me some more info about your corp, especially current tensions with other corps, how you look at pirating, where you're based etc. etc.
I'm currently in my own "personal" corp - which might be dissolved when I find a good corp to join.
Consider myself a veteran player, been here since beta 6. Got myself a battleship, buch of rares and some money on my savings account.
I would be interested in still killing npc pirates for money/loot, alone or with company. Also would need some advices/learning skills for pvp combat - as I've run like a chicken every time mOo has taken a shot at me :)
My current sec status is 10.0. My skills are focused on fighting. Mining is not an option for me - at least not for long sessions...

As you might be able to tell Im looking for a corp. myself i have about 2 months exp. fly an Amarr Omen wich I earned thru a preveous Corp. but Im looking to expand my horizons I have a descent skill base,only area I have no experience in thus far is PvP and could use some advice in this area,but Im a fast learner, so Im usualy on late at night here on the east coast of the U.S. bout 1A.M. and sometimes again at 10-11 A.M. whenever I can. hope I can be of service to you someday.

One thing I will add to this topic this really is to the smaller corps.
If you find you are struggling in eve and feel your corp is failing then please speak to us we are always interested in corps who wish to merge with us.
This will not apply to all and has happened twice so far so I thought I would just confirm some questions that have been put to me in game by people.
1: yes we will accept smaller corps merging with us.
2: no we do not ask for anything or items from that corp that you got prior to you joining us. that is yours to keep(or share with us no pressure)
3: ceo's and directors from merged corps will have to work there way up they will not come in with high lvl's in our corp.
4: please contact us on our forums if you wish to get some more information on this.

CME are now putting recruitment on hold for a few weeks.
we have had a nice new group of guys join us that we wish to get settled into teh corp and to train the new memebers as well.

Prices for minerals are for
Tritanium 2 isk and higher
Pyrite is already 6 isk and higher
Mexalon 12 isk and lower glad for the great amounts.
Noxcium is 300 isk and higher
Isogen is around 60 isk.

Prices on page 2 are out of date.
The rest you do not mine a see.
But miners are backbone of your cooperations you rent them in so PVP is your main actity. what corp are you now.
