Back when you could do Concorde missions if you had near 10.0 you could pop people in high sec and just take a sec and standing hit rather than getting insta blapped..... they changed that though... for shame :(

I have seen people with 10.0 corp standings. But has anyone got a 10.0 faction standing, without connections?

If so do you get anything for it? Other then the faction bs bpc from the cosmos mission.

Due to standing increase mechanics it is impossible to get a +10 standing with either a corp or a faction. You can get very, very close, but an absolute 10 is unachievable.

Standings are, for the most part useless. There are few benefits of obtaining standings with more than one corps other than personal interest.

I wish there were benefits, like unique LP store offers, reserved station offices, assembly lines or research slots or even just pins you can stick on your character from the Noble Exchange.

But it all ends with jump clones and POS placement in highsec.

You are wrong, since i played eve from 6 years i saw few people with 10.00, when stanings of players were easy to see in character info ( not possible these days) not so much but like 5% or less of these who focusing on hardcore pve - carebearing, call it like you want, got 10.00 faction standing.

I remember CCP making a big deal a few years ago about one guy who did actually manage to get 10.0 standing. Don't know if anyone else ever has. That's the kind of useless information you remember when you're a bittervet. Now if only I could remember what I came to the computer for...

I think you need to check on what absolute means. A display value of 10.00 is not too hard as you only need to get 9.995. The last 0.005 to get absolute 10 is unacheivable if you want to be really specic about it.

Your reward for 10.0 standings is the fact that you have 10.0 standings.

10.0 standings should give you the opportunity to run for faction leadership, players should be able to be the President Executors, Prime-Ministers, High-Priests, Clan Chiefs of the 4 factions.

Standings are, for the most part useless.

I remember about a year ago I activated CQ (I know, right?) and the screen was announcing some player who had just achieved a 10.0 Standing to Gallente.

So....I guess it is possible.
