A mod needs to move Oveur's posts into the stickied thread; CCP should follow the rules they set for us themselves, else they end up creating all these extra threads full of flames by ****ed-off people who think that $15 per month can buy them more support than CCP is already offering, or that they have a right to be rude simply because they're ****ed off.

Ive been playin this game since release and seen stuff like this written on these boards on so many occasions ive lost count, ive never played anything except eve, so dont know quite what you expect from cpp in comparason to other games but so far ive worked out 1 thing.......
Some of you moan like an old womens kniting circle about every tiny dam thing, "we pay this" "we pay to play this game" bla bla, , if you cant log in for an hour here, or even a day there, tuff sh1t.
At least he is interacting with the players by posting on the boards. The only thing that ever annoyed me about anything in the past 2 years was lack of communication on delays during some of the early gemini/castor patchs and that didnt make me want to run to the forums and cry lke a little girl about it.

2 reasons you shouldnt be posting that.....
1. You dont need to explain youreself.
2. You should be at home with ur baby.
Go home, you only make tea and coffee for the proper devs, wash dishs, sweep up etc usally anyway, they will have to switch the kettle on themselves for a change

Uhm, they have made a post about the server troubles, in fact it's in the news every time you log into the game. Not to mention the fact that not every dev at CCP knows how to tweak server load balances and fix network problems. The dev team actually consists of many people, including artists, producers, programmers, network engineers, PR people, GM's, writers and QA guys. Only one of these groups works with the server network directly, and that would be the network engineers. If they're not available to fix the problem then there's not a whole lot that Oveur, who probably hasn't trained his Network skills to level 5 yet, can do.
Now, for your information CCP has shared some of their server troubles with the community in great detail before, usually in the dev blogs. I've not seen a single MMOG company do this before, so on behalf of the vast majority of the EVE community who appreciate the dev team's efforts and actually have a sense of humor, kindly take your whining elsewhere.
Now lets see if we can't get that lock in here with some good old fashioned flamebait

Seriously, you guys insulting him should be ashamed. He takes a few seconds to check whether the forums are working, when he shouldn't be doing ANYTHING EVE related, but rather should be enjoying himself with his new daughter...and you complain? Get a life.
Seriously, it wasn't so bad anyway...after I spent five minutes or so trying to figure out what was going on, I wandered off and watched a few episodes of Tripping the Rift that I had recorded. And then I came back. And I logged on. And everything was fine. No harm done.
