Thanks CCP Prism X. Forgive my lack of faith (and don't wonder why) but is there any guarantee that this is a fault-free SDE?
Edit: No matter what still remaining your #2 fan. |

There are no guarantees in life!
But I did give the link to people who usually catch errors when they are doing their conversions before posting it here. We also still have the spot-checking scripts I wrote up after the last SDE had to be regenerated a few thousand times.
So.. maybe? @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of Team Pony Express |

Thanks a ton, you guys rock! It's so much more fun implementing patch changes when you don't have to hurry cause your users are already waiting. |

Doesn't really belong in this thread, but yeah, it's done in a different way than with ASBs where the effect attribute is on the charges, for AARs it's on the module itself. |

I have absolutely no clue what you two are talking about. But you should consider widening your non-clusters, or even the cluster itself (but remember that all non-clusters contain their respective cluster values in case they are non-covering!), if you find yourself creating too many non-clusters to ensure the seekability of most activity. @CCP_PrismX EVE Database Developer and Expert Ranter Member of Team Pony Express |

Just for reference, it turns out I missed a reference to which database to dump, in the export script for the CSV and XLS data. So that was still using 1.0.7. It's now updated. Next time, it will be right first time.
I blame PrismX for being efficient and getting it out early, rather than my own ineptitude. we got this retribution sde early. in exchange, for the last 3-4 months, we have been stuck with an outdated sde. because an early sde tends to not contain the post-patch bugfixes.
if you just want to get started on the new data, i have been posting some preview-sde-overlays here. |

Yeah, but I still would prefer it early if I have to choose. Of course, the perfect release policy would be one release early (like on Friday or Saturday to get all the things in that are still being worked on this week) and then a 2nd release a couple weeks later once all the little corrections and bugfix patches have trickled in.
Not sure when the next point release is scheduled, but I guess it would certainly be sooner than 3-4 months this time.

@Jercy, multibyte strings in your dump appears to be double-encoded. Also, the main script has .dmp extension, rather than .sql. |

.dmp is far from an unusual file extension to use for this kind of file.
I've always used .sql for small sql patches, and .dmp for database dumps. Helps prevent me trying to open a huge file in an sql editor. Steve Ronuken for CSM 9!-á I'm starting early :) Handy tools and an SDE conversion Twitter: @fuzzysteve on Twitter |

The main point was that all strings in trnTranslations are mangled. Extension is a minor annoyance. And if your SQL editor can't handle 300mb file, I suggest you find a better one. |

i nulled out the FKs for the rows missing in the a-month-outdated yaml files (mainly invTypes.iconID)
