Only just started playing again this weekend and just noticed this little 'feature'. I could swear the bonus was always given at the agent's home station back in the day. This an intended change or a bug ?

It's not just the bonus, the implants from important missions also drop where you are. I don't know if it was an intended change, but I personally find it annoying. If I keep running missions for an agent that gives me trade goods, I want them all in one place for when I pick them up with an indy.
Also, some of my corp mates have been given goods in places where said goods are illegal (small arms in Caldari space, for example).

Care to explain why as I think this change makes life harder for everyone. Especially if you ran a mission in a fast frig and get 40k ammo as the bonus

Take your fast frig and fly it back to your primary base and complete the mission there. Nothing is stopping your from getting the bonus awards dropped anywhere in EVE except the bonus time limit.
People should learn to use changes to their advantages before screaming for fixes and nerfs.

This is how it used to work ages ago, back then I always completed the missions at the station where my agent was. That said however, I didn't like it and was v. happy when it changed to deposit all rewards at the agent's location.
Maybe it slipped in by accident - though would be a bit embarrasing if true *cough* config control *cough*

Interesting change, this. Not terribly annoying, unless I forget to read the mission description and take the wrong size of ship. Then I end up somewhere in a fast mission runner with a tiny hold wondering what to do with my reward of 9 R.Db.
From a realism/RP point of view - should you care - it is sometimes a little unfortunate. A couple of days ago I shipped some hydrogen batteries for Duvolle. My bonus reward, at the destination, was a little over twice that number of hydrogen batteries. If they had them there to give as a reward, why did I have to ship the bloody things?

There you said it - thats excatly why it is great! You have a choice of where you bonus will appear, which frees you from hauling those piles of planetary vehicles or RDB's ____ When flying by Concord Customs Commander's Dominix I distinctly heard him saying "... world domination..." |

Thats not completely true though, coz if u have just had to do a courier mission and drop whatever off in a certain station your mission reward will appear there, rather than your agents station.

if you just did courier that most likely means you can as well haul stuff back (since you have to go there anyway)... Its the agents givin out few hundred thousand rockets 7-10 jumps away from you home what was really wrong. ____ When flying by Concord Customs Commander's Dominix I distinctly heard him saying "... world domination..." |

Does it appear at any station you complete the mission at? i.e. If I transport something from x to y and then complete the mission at z, does the reward appear at z? If so this change is terrible. You can run missions in low sec, then in an empty frig head to > 0.6 and complete the mission there, with no risk. ----------------------- Honor and Serve!

gettin mission from high sec agent into low sec zone is already pretty bad as it is... Most important thing that ppl still dont understand is that now you have a CHOICE. ____ When flying by Concord Customs Commander's Dominix I distinctly heard him saying "... world domination..." |

This change is great and alows you to do alot more with your bonus alot easier.
My reasoning.
A: You are using a temporary agent to get up standings with a faction that is only a couple jumps away. This new feature alows you run to your base and say I have finishied the mission. At this point the Agent will give you the reward of the several thousands of m3 at your home base and you will not have to go through the trouble of moving it with a hauler.
B. Say you Bonuse is some trade good that you will not use but sell on the NPC Market like more rewards you get now. If its sever thousands of m3 which would take a hauler you can now jump in a shuttle or fast frig go to the station that is buying the trade good and have it there to see.
I'm sure there are more. Now the reason why you think this is bad. Agent sends me to x location x # of jumps away usually not than many. Now I have to make all those jumps back to my agent just so I don't have x bonuse at x random system or station Pooorrr me...... People really need to stop whinning.

Personally I hate it. Shipping 5m2 cargo to a Station in a quick frigate, and then getting 2800m2 in trade goods as bonus at that station annoys the @#$% outta me.
Edit: unless of course you get the bonus at the station you complete the mission at. Not tested this yet.
