Why do Nossy's require this skill to be trained up when you get absolutely no benefits out of the time invested? Energy Emissions reduces the capacitor need for Neuts and Transfers, but the Nosferatu is totally screwed when you have this trained.
Why not have the Nossy get extra range or drain amount?

That's the point. You HAVE to train it to L3 to use a Heavy Nos, but you get zero return out of training the skill higher.

T2 Nos would use it.
And be glad it's required, the Talisman Set decreases Nos duration because of it . |

You get the use of the Nos for training it. There are several skills like this out there that give no bonuses except the ability to use certain mods or ships. If you don't have a reason to train it higher than a certain level, rejoice, for you can move on to something that does matter that much quicker!

The Show Info for this skill has this:
"Operation of energy transfer array and other energy emission systems. 5% reduced capacitor need of energy emission weapons."
Has anyone verified that it does indeed reduce the cap need for these systems? That would seem to make it worthwhile; eg, if getting to IV means my NOS requires 20% less cap to use (not sure if it's either fitting or while active)...it's good stuff.

NOS's don't use any cap...and 20% less cap of nothing is? Eactly, that's why the original poster is complaining.

I mispoke; I meant neutralizers. Thanks Reapo.
So...maybe I can try out at experient with this and see how much cap a neut uses. I'll try it and post the results.
