I bought one on a lark, they're really pretty awful.
They're huge and heavy, so they'll never be fast. They've got poor cap and poor CPU. With the split 2 turret/2 launcher they don't take good advantage of weapons bonuses, either. They do have decent armor, but they don't have the cap to maintain any kind of active tank. I can see them filling a destroyer role, but they're awfully pricey for that.

That's by designÖ. The idea being that a faster ship (such as, say, a Bestower) will impale itself on the spikes as it overtakes...

Dang looks like im the only one who really likes his Succubus, oh well, ive a long list of Cruiser pilots who don't like them either ;)

Highs

2*Mark I generator re-fitting: re-action control
1*Small tech II armor repper
1*Adaptive Nano plate.
*Replace any tech I gear with Tech II or named where possible*
and yep you heard me rite, i have taken BC down with this set-up, the stupid person forgot where his warp button was so i was only to happy to waste him.
At optimal blaster range (about 3km) i was chewing through cruisers like they werent there, wouldn't like to try and deal with drones as well tho.
and so long as im not being hit too hard i can armor tank all day long, can out tank all frigs, match-tank a cruiser and survive long enough to bring down BC.
Lost her when a Cerberus gate-ganked the living brown stuff out of me :( wasnt happy.

 Even my succubus did chew thru his setup like a hot knife thru butter.
That ship is a collectors' item, but kind of powerful against t1 frigs and cruisers. |

I'll take it out to pvp in (though I don't expect it to last long) on our next contract if that silly backward warping thing gets fixed.

Totally true my man, but i do not once mention AF, i said frigs and by that i meant T1, i dont ever dream that this ship could handle an AF.

Yes mate you pasted me good, this was when i had rockets on and was shield tanking oh and your 20mill odd SP do kinda make any fight between you and me kinda un-fair
