Cmdr Sy	Posted - 2005.07.25 00:11:00 - [1] My first video had me and assorted alliance friends pwning mission runners in BSs. This one is a little bit different, it's an interceptor pilot's view of a 0.0 fleet battle fought earlier tonight in one of EVE's infamous systems. No blob war by a gate, oh no, for the most part you get to see us die in close-up detail, at a planet. Myself included. (Not included is me being pod-killed when an insta from safe dropped me 4k off the gate) I have included subtitled cues of all the important moments in the battle for the benefit of newer players, so they can see what was being done. I hope it adds to the clarity. I have to say, we did lose, the enemy BSs outnumbered ours 2-1, and a hundred drones do a lot of damage to our numerous support ships. Pure BS fleet vs. mixed fleet still pwns. But we stayed to fight unhindered by tacklers and for me this footage makes up for my losses. Those who chicken out of an uneven fight are missing out on a lot of cinematics. General Killah	Posted - 2005.07.25 06:57:00 - [4] Ok when we first came up here I didn't have a lot of respect for SAS or VOC because the first person I met from them was a very big smacktalker. We killed some SAS who were with SAS gangs but other than that no real engagements. Tonight we completely underestimated VOC. That was the best fight I have ever been in, respect to VOC(and if SAS is like this too I'm sure things are going to be damn fun), look forward to future fights. Won't underestimate what you can do next time. kk,not sure who smacked u,but we dont see much smash cos off such big diffrent time zones,also we had 1 small engagment with smash and thats about it so far. now to watch the vids...

Cmdr Sy	Posted - 2005.07.25 18:55:00 - [10] I'm pretty sure that was him, he was obviously doing a good job of target jamming our remaining damage dealers, and was only taking damage from a few intys. Easy enough to tank, and easy enough to counter with the number of drones you guys had out. And I disagree, if people only hunt what they can easily take down, the game becomes a boring blob war. You take a big risk with fast, mobile forces, but it is far more rewarding that way, even if you do die. Whereas two blobs chasing each other around a constellation, that's a wasted evening.

Don't worry, I've seen our fraps and it is a nice compliment to this one, was cool to see the fight from two different views (and two different sides). Though unfortunately, our lack the first minute of the fight or so, though we do have everything until the very last moment. You'll have to ask Pheole if you want to see it though, as he's saving it up a for a larger production. "It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes."

SAS had i nice fleet there lots of damage ships mixed in with ew you guys rely dident stand a chance was kinda a brave thing too attack against those odds.
