Please!!
Please make anchored containers time-limited.
It annoys me and almost EVERYONE to hell to see containers hang there unused for weeks, months even years in one spot!
When will CCP ever realize that by not making anchored can's dissapear over time it'll just increase lag and irritation.
Newbie miners are royally f'ed because there's no good spot left to anchor their containers... and you wanna know the reason? It's because some other newbies anchored their own containers on the good spots.... 3 years ago!!
Let secure containers have a limit based on the anchoring skill. Base limit should be 1 or 2 days up to a week. Not longer!
After a while you'll see 99% of the containers dissapear into thin air because they were useless.
But i guess im not the only one who is annoyed to hell with this and has suggested this idea. Sad to see CCP hasnt done a thing about this since the invention of anchoring, except limiting places where you could anchor.
CCP has some odd tactics on taking on problems... just like with the Freighter that could fit a Dreadnought. Instead of increasing the size of the dreadnought by 1% they decided to decrease the cargocapacity of the freighter, the reason why they choose it this way is prolly unknown to anyone.
Maybe i should spam a few hundred can's around in busy systems. Create some more lag and problems :) Perhaps CCP will then come up with the idea to limit amount of pilots in 1 system at any given time. BRILLIANT!! As long as the immortal containers are untouched... forever, it's all good :)

of course they removed the highways so that the people would disperse, not because the conjestion caused server problems. :)

I hate all of the old cans too.. and guys drop cans right outside of zones..
Sign'd .. give us a way to remove them or something :)

they should reeduce th hp of cans by 90% and have rats go round shooting them.
or even better....
Have the time they remain anchored be based on the skill
and when they are about to un anchor yoou get a message.
or....
delete all cans by players who no longer exist and only allow a certain number of cans per player
or let us blow the up with no sec loss

yesterday i scooped a can out of space and into my cargo hold (i think it was a small standard)
long live the war against the cans!!
(that can now enjoys a toasty existance in pieces inside the sun in nonni, and fragmented throughout the system  )
(concord should automaticaly confiscate any cans that are left unused for a month in high sec.... in low sec we can just shoot em ourselfs)
