HUZZAH FEDERATION has declared war on The Short Bus Squad
The Short Bus Squad (here by know as TSBS) is pleased to announce
that Due to recent retaliations against HUZZAH FEDERATION
(here by known as GSV) War has been Declared upon us. TSBS is
proud to know that we have became such a problem to this alliance
who have attacked us under the orders of CVA and PIE feel that we are
worth going to war.
This action has came after a 2 week break from the Providence region
whilst TSBS were undertaking Mercenary contacts in distant
reaches of space.
TSBS is also pleased to announce that although heavily out
numbered in almost every engagement TSBS has dealt several
blows to there larger aggressor to the point where they are
using peoples (un-named for legal reasons)
from outer alliances to help attack our lower security standing
members .
We would also like to mention that no terms of war or communication
has been received from GSV. But we hope that we will be able to bring
you news on that soon

You know I would expect even a heathen pirate to realise that when he shoots someone, that someone is likely to come and shoot back.
Also, as amusing as it is to think that the Huzzah Federation might be vassals instead of allies... We really dont need to order them to shoot pirates, you see they do that already on their own.
And last it seems odd to me that even a heathen with as limited political understanding as yourself would think that a complaint like this actually accomplishes anything.
I wish Huzzah luck in takeing this battle into CONCORD patrolled space. May God go with you all and grind these despicable pirates into the dust.

I'm amused that the Short Bussers don't seem to get the causality between being pirates and people not exactly being big fans of theirs -- BornToKill was trying to make a deal with me to get bulk mineral orders, and was shocked, SHOCKED I say, that I would insist I receive 75M in restitution for the Bustard of mine they blew up a couple of months ago before I'd even think about dealing with them.
Piracy is a legitimate gameplay choice -- but every choice has consequences, folks. Don't get upset when someone takes offense to your chosen profession.

but this is an RP game, I mean if you don't even understand that it is an MMORPG when it says so right on the top of the EVE website's very first page...I mean you should at least be able to read right?
Besides you don't have to want to RP, doesn't mean other people arenĘt just going to roll over you RPing all the way regardless.
You see PvP is fun, but when there is some story plots involved it is more interesting. Dealing with pirates snipping at gates is lackluster enjoyment at best, warring with enemies both stellar and foul can revitalize ones interest.
It is personal preference, no one said you have to RP. I said don't talk bout the Reclaiming if you don't understand unless you want to put your foot in your mouth. Basically if you can't bother to try and RP then don't try and RP (logic you know?).

the complaint over your ignorance is not because you are ignorant, it is because you make statements of incredulity about character actions as if they are not RPing the Reclaiming when you donĘt have the faintest idea of what the Reclaiming is.
It was your arrogance of assumption that caused me at least to mention something about it. Normally I wouldn't say anything since I also am not a font of knowledge.
So I retract any "harsh" commentary and add that if you want to know about what folks are doing in the RP areas I can point you to a few people who follow that stuff very closely. You know the dedicated people who when I say "so tell me about Khanid II" they all start quoting names, ages and dates like some autistic savant counting toothpicks falling on the floor.

Would like to point out that most the kills against us were against members of anouther corp wich merged just as the war started resulting in loads of them getting killed this war was a good fight - i would like to pint out also that there loses are underestimated and would also like to point out that at no time were any short bus members away from the abttelfield becasue of lack of ship and that most were returned to the battel within 60 mins in the ship type they lost with fittings if there specification

I just found this topic, I must improve my forum *****ing skills.
Yes it was a ton of fun and was a nice break from loosing additional sec status. I was "impatient" the last few days of the war and suffered some losses but I lost nothing of significance. PVP is what I play for and this empire war was a refreshing blast. Had fun convos, local chats and good fights with you all.
I'll be taking a break for a while but no worries, I'll be back around sooner than you think

as for you miss scarlet that was a PRIVATE conversation and not for posting on this forum. whatever you lost as a result of us blowing up your ship is mute. if i got mad and disgruntled at everyone who blew me up and wanted restitution before dealing with them i would have to go all the way back to when i was first podded as a new player by Shivan, a person i dealt with while in the stain empire.
as for us being pirates we have never denied that fact, even while we were in stain, we just refrained from doing it. as for our name im sure i could think of many ways to make fun of your name in game or r/l and you wouldnt think that was nice.
to huzzah we had a few good fights. lost a few ships but we had fun, and other than the tag along who we insisted leave the system before we would fight again, all was fun. props to you and your members for good fights and honorable discussions in local.
only thing we had any real issue was with cva RPing in local but ive seen it before so it doesnt really bother me.....except the comment that 'i cannot be podded because i am a man of GOD' did not sit to well but hey ho......GOOD FIGHT HUZZAH...we must do it again

Dear enimies and friends...Its true we are pirates at times and good guys at others ,We all play the game to have fun as well as the rest of you.I for one dont enjoy the rp side of the game and really dont like to hear about it.I will say this all smack aside i have had alot of fun fighting withg Huzzah and bear them no ill will.As far as official counts and losses on either side i really didnt keep up.I was killed enough times and always had another ship in return.I feel like we fought well against them.We do still have alot of nOObs that get blown up everyday.I guess thats how people learn...lol....I myself will admit to nOOb mistakes and such that get me blown up..I would rather me go down and the rest of my corpmates get out everytime.Anyway good fight guys and gals all of you.Enimies though we may be i have great respect for most of the Huzzah peeps i met in battle.And yes our corp is named after a retarded bus and we all think its funny.Our original CEO is a good gaming friend of mine that got into r/l issues and couldnt play for awile.I run this corp and the things in it with the help of friends ive made in the game but will never replace the original.So in closeing if you really need to forum slam someone from my corp here i am ...But leave the rest of my bus tards alone i can take all the smack you have to dish as i REALLY DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK OF ME.......have fun in the game and fly safe...

im not quite sure where i am flailing my arms and being hysterical. and as for my punctuation i choose to not use it as i am typing on forums not impressing you with my intelligence, hardly my goal here. just stating that many people have lost alot more than you did with your 75mil. i lost everything i had in a hauler (much more than 75mil worth) going out to stain, (when we were a part of stain) to curse pilots we were not at war with. i didnt ask for restitution before dealing with them later on because it is a game and i let it go. one golden rule we fly by is 'if you cant afford it dont fly it, and if you cant replace it dont buy it'.
ok so you chose not to sell minerals to us because we wouldnt pay restitution to you for your ship. go on about your way and do your thing, we are not stopping you. just dont get mad if we blow you up again knowing where we live and what we do. we do generally get a "no" when we ask people to deliver things to that area and they say "but there are pirates there". we know we are the pirates, never denied it. however we dont blow up people who deliver goods to us, whether it be in mista or kheram. but anyways we play how we want to and that is the way of things so no more reason to respond to these forums.
said what i wanted to say to huzzah and that is what this forum was about, you want restitution complain to CCP.
saddest day in EVE by far is when my sec rating went positive..(but not anymore)......*giggles* |

And here we have the classic problem with pirates. They think that because they were shot, they have a license to shoot everyone for no reason. They seem to think they have some God given right to kill everyone in non-CONCORD protected space.
Well they can try, CONCORD wont stop them afterall. But know this my oh so dence Pirate friend. If you attack someone, they will generally remember it. Because unlike you lunatics hanging off of the fringes of the civilized society, most of the people of the universe do not take it for granted that everyone is going to kill them... and that killing anyone you see just because you can is somehow normal.
No in the civilized world, killing someone just because you can is a good way to get either locked up permanently or shot. Something the pirates in providence are learning the hard way as those they have attacked in the past begin to turn on them one after another and start to get their own back. I blame Gallente entertainment myself, something must be horribly wrong with these people for them to see killing thousands as a 'game'.
May God grant that your insane state come to an end and you realise how greatly you have sinned in His eyes.
OOC: You should note the part where it says this is an IC forum. That would mean that what is talking is your character, and your character most definitely does not see this as a game... unless he is quite insane.

Well, if you want to deal with people who will turn on you at the drop of a hat, that's fine -- it's not really my problem if they stab you in the back. But expecting everyone else to be as forgiving (or stupid) as you is rather silly. Plus, you'll notice I'm not complaining about being splashed -- after all, I am flying around in another Bustard right now, so obviously I didn't have that much trouble replacing it. And admittedly, the only reason I got blown up was because of my own inattentiveness, so really, it wasn't that huge a deal to me (I just learned a rather expensive lesson). However, that doesn't mean I'm going to forget about a significant loss like that.

Not quite sure where you're going here. I have gone on my way (and I still fly through Kheram and Mista on a semi-regular basis) and I am not holding some sort of blood feud with you. However, I'm not going to deal with a bunch of thrill-killing pirates if they aren't going to make it at least worth my while, and the way I see it, you're 75M in the hole to me, so until you make up the debt, I'm not going to sell you minerals (and I sure as hell won't do it cheaper than I could get elsewhere). Expecting me to feel otherwise is rather shortsighted.

It might be a good idea as the best times in the area where when TSBS, FREEKS and Priory were contesting us (Huzzah and CVA) for control of R3, the balance was good and no one could control the space for more than short periods at a time. Priory have joined stain and apart from the occasional pirate in local are not to be seen, FREEKS have dissapeared and TSBS are heavily outnumbered and although putting up a good fight are getting hammered for it, I don't know how they can afford to loose all these ships. This isn't a flame as I personally like a lot of the TSBS guys and the place would be a lot worse without them about.

why thank you hans.....im glad to see we have as much fun blowing you up as you do us. shame the war had to end though. was just starting to get fun. nice to see not everyone takes this game quite so seriously as some do. to me its just a game and i play to have fun and if i have fun blowing other people up then oh well.....i pay the price for those who see things differently than i do.
as for what consequences these actions would have in real life.....i know what they are....but this isnt real life now is it....and for one to think so probably holds dear the material pleasures that this game brings as well......but i might be mistaken
