Does he feel like eve has already or will one day lack its 'Massively' from its genre's acronym 'MMO' given the amount of devices, mods that make ships jump capable including current jump ranges them selves.

Question from me
Has there been any discussion yet about the future changes to black ops beyond the stopgap alterations to fuel bay size, jump distance and bridge fuel consuption. I remember there being talk of splitting the black ops into two ships with differing roles, which I approve of , but nothing else since then.
Also thanks very much for making cruisers not suck anymore.

Current research suggests one SoonGäó is equal to 1.21 PosthastesGäó and 0.23 Lickety-SplitsGäó.

how about asking fozzie about the missile changes regarding TE' TC' TD's a timescale would be nice and also any intention to look at HAMS .... since they have the same range as torpedoes considering the normal range difference with medium and large weapons short range high damage ammo, rage... should be just that .... only scorch comes close to them which is ridiculous.... |

@Fozzie, Do you have any initial ideas for Tech 3 cruiser rebalancing? For example if T3 cruisers will be expected to be on-grid whill they have their tanking stats buffed?

@ Fozzie, are there any devs (or even yourself) that participate in wormholes PvP/ life in general. It would be nice to know that some internal guys see the same problems we see rather than hearing them through someone ranting on the forums. Its rumoured that soundwave spending some time in wormholes triggered the corp BM change.
Random question #3:
@ Fozzie, are you trying to promote solo / small gang PvP by buffing armor self-reppers and adding the new self-rep module reliant on nanite paste? |

I have a question.
Dearest CCP Fozzie,
Looking in to your crystal ball and the future of ship balancing do you have a handle on, or a scope, of how many more new skills will need to be added to the game to cover/cope with ship balancing changes?
The reason for asking is having to train new skill to essentially do what we can already do is a bit disconcerting to me. I believe to many others as well. And while we understand the great need for these many balancing acts I'd love your insight, if any can be given, on how deep that rabbit hole for new skills may run.

Will the Raven get plenty of the awesomesouce this summer?
Will the explosion velocity and explosion radius "feature" be finally removed from cruise missiles and torpedos to be awesome again this summer?
Will railguns become very scary this summer?
Could medium and large armor reps get 2 more books that reduce capacitor need by 50% and cycle time for them by 25% at level 5 this summer?
Will Caldari battleships get rid of the running gag of 75mm scan resolution this summer?
(They should be able to lock something, they are not capital ships)
Will drones get some attention?
(Some of them need much love and all of them need to be less stupid) |

1) Many rebalanced ships have seen their utility slots disappear. CCP Fozzie himself has said the new meta game will have less neuts. Will we see this trend continue with BS tiercide? Can you give hints to what degree? (Tempest and Phoon have one? All others do without?)
2) CCP Fozzie indicated in an older post that he wasn't happy with tracking enhancers. Are they still on the menu and can we get any specifics?
3) What is your vision for EAFs?
4) Can the Wolf and Jaguar swap their falloff and optimal bonuses to reflect how most people fly them? Can the Ishkur have it's 'bigger dronebay' bonus revisited? It only gets 10 lights compared to the Tristan's 5. |

So don't be surprised if a lot of questions about timelines get answered with a "Can't say with enough certainty yet".

Q: Can you have a look at balancing Weapons rigs - specifically the stacking penalties and calibration points esp. with T2 rigs?
Sadly the game seems to have focussed more and more on 'tank' rather than 'gank'.
I don't understand how or why you can fit 5x 1600mm plates and 3x T2 trimarks without stacking penalty, but even try fitting 2x T2 collision accelerator rigs and you find your calibration points sadly lacking. Add to that a damage module or two and the stacking penalty makes your 'gank' fit rigged ship completely redundant.
Q2: How about altering the Algid rig to reduce the heat damage to weapons systems by 10% per rigging level?
Gank needs some more love. |
