Edited by: Saladin on 26/07/2005 17:35:17 Edited by: Saladin on 26/07/2005 17:31:51 0virtu0 plays on 56k dialup and has routine connectivity issues. He is routinely disconnected from the game. Moreover, it appears that you attacked an abandoned shuttle as opposed to a real player.
As for the login traps, never seen any done during my time at VIRII, but everyone, and I mean everyone in EvE, does it, so what is the big deal?

You can do better then this. Tell them how VIRII members kick old ladies.
Believe me, 0Virtu0 doesn't log. Our corp is smart enough to read the patch notes and understand that it won't make a difference.

It does Konietzko, it means he wont lose his pod as it will warp off instantly still. Which as he was in a shuttle is obviously why it was done.

Ah, let me first begin by saying, how dare someone from this corp even dare to make a post accusing us of such a thing. *cough* jumping 10 corpmates in on a 1 on 1 *cough*
But...getting away from that. I use a device called "Catch A Call", an annoying little device that lets me get phone calls while online with 56k, but when someone does call, should I not choose to answer I get disconnected anyway, an annoying little issue that I'd love to resolve. And also, every once in a while my ISP would just love to disconnect me for no apparent reason.
And lets see here...I "log off" to avoid getting podded in a shuttle, but I don't log off in inties or HACs or other ships of this sort? Stop looking for a way to cause trouble, Interstellar ex0dus... ---------------------------------- I play EvE and I don't even get a stupid signature. |

We don't log out in combat, or do log on traps, whatever the hell that means. Above is why we have singled out your corporation, truth be told had this not occured we would have already moved deeper south, hell we even gave safe passage to some SE members for giving us intel on your corp, you'd be surprised how many people in your alliance don't like your corporation, well maybe you wouldn;t be, but I was. Anyway thanks for motivating us to stay right where we are for a while longer, you guys are fun to kill you are like those crunchy bugs that make noise when you squash them.
By the way your corp did a good job in that 7 on 3 Battleship fight last night in 9RQ, you guys are getting better you only lost 4 of them. It made for a cool fraps though.

Actually, I thought he was an alt too until I looked the name up, he's a member of the Interstellar ex0dus [IE-EX] corp in Stain Empire.
...and now that I look at the screenshot...wth kind of rifter setup is that? ---------------------------------- I play EvE and I don't even get a stupid signature. |

OvirtuO, you're wrong. He's an alt. Maybe in the same corp as his main but, an alt all the same. I might be a bit over-zealous when it comes to skills training but, look at the screenshot again. >EVEN< if I was in a sorry Rifter setup with only 2 std launchers, I believe I would take time away from the rigors of killing a defensless shuttle to start training another skill. I may be off base here but seriously, my top square wouldn't stay lit up for very long. My comments are my own. More often than not I have moments of sheer stupidity. I don't need to drag my friends and allies down with me. |

The alt you are referring to is probably my alt. In the alliance chat I noticed that someone wrote "'altname (misspelled)' is probably an alt of 0Virtu0", then it was briefly discussed (which I initially missed - I have too many windows open), and then I said it was an infod alt, which I don't know if anyone actually noticed.
I really doubt that VIRII would use logon/logoff tactics now, they never did before.
