Eureka I say, for I am King Frieza, and I have discovered ze main problem with ze game.
It is made in REALbasic, I kid you not. Drones acting stupid? Everything pretty much borked and fubar? Well, you can't expect REALbasic to do anything of real value, now do you? If you did so, King Frieza declares you "sohhhh Stuuuuhhhpppiiid!".
Devs at CCP have all the physics and equations down to an exact nanometer of each other. Can't scoop up a drone that is 12 meters from you? Well, that is because you forgot to calculate all the time-delay of time and space continuum.
Some one has been watching too much Star Trek, King Frieza declares so!
King Frieza also declare holiday on 2 of December, for it be King Frieza magic holiday. On magic holiday, CCP become 1337 and program everything in Assembly, 'cause they so 1337, but perhaps they be like [666]Flat and pr0gram everything in Javascript, for Javascript is teh uber.
King Frieza declare that ownership of flag without Indian boat gambling be because game is binaried incompletely. So says King Frieza.

If EVE was written in REALbasic, then at least the code would be object-oriented, and changing the code for one thing wouldn't screw up everything else.
