I would like to inform you that it does work, and yes it does break skin.... (my colleague is not impressed with it however)
Let's get this straight, if a girl has to be "rescued" 10 times a week from a brothel shes not a damsel but a prostitute.

Heh, reminds me of a contraption I made out of a ruler, a large paper clip and some elastic bands to fire elastic bands at my colleagues in my old job.
It was called the Weapon of Maths Destruction and had a firing range of about 10-15 feet (though at full range the bands had a tendency to be swayed by the air con and miss the target completely). It was great for close range sniping, though.
I remember when one work mate stole it and hid it from me. Took me two weeks to finally find it while he was away from his desk. I replaced it with a standard ruler with a Post It on it saying "OWNED!"
When he got back, I taunted him so that he would get the WMD out and shoot me - he pulled the ruler out and was like, "What the hell?"
Then I shot him

Mount a laser pen on top or bottom for improved accuracy. Pluss it makes the gun more intimidating and you feel more like an office commando.

The sheer close range distructive power of these things.
Smashed several glasses with it. I want to fit 6 on my megathron pls. ^^
