So I'm sick of seeing all the awesome stories about other player gatherings. i'm doing something about it. It's time to gate camp Courtney Place in Wellington. The exact location is yet to be determined, but I will update this thread with more info as it is available
Date: 1st June 2013 (Queen's Birthday Weekend)
Time Unsure, probably 7pm until we get kicked out
Location: Somewhere in Central Wellington, probably on/near to Courtney Place.
Everyone is invited (especially CCP Dev's). Spread the word.

Now added: For those who arrive in Wellignton early and LOVE Lord of the Rings as much as I do, I am attempting to arrange a trip to Weta Workshop and Mt Victoria to see the locations where they filmed a couple of scenes in Fellowship of the Ring. The trip to Weta will either require access to a vehicle, or we can all jump on a bus. Mt Vic we can walk to, although it will be a decent walk. Think of it as a roam!. This will be done in the afternoon. The Weta Cave itself is free entry but there is an optional "window into the Workshop" tour that costs $20 and is highly recommended.
I am also working on attempting to arrange a few other non eve but still nerdy things over the weekend. There is also the possibility of putting a fleet together and camping the Embassy Theater, but will have to wait until close to the time to see which movies are on offer.
If you have any other suggestions of things us nerds can do, or can help with any of the above, please let me know either here in the thread or via Eve-Mail.
As an aside, I am going to use my network of spies in Wellington to try and find us a location with free WiFi so we can have put together a roaming fleet during the weekend.
Current confirmed attendance count: 2. Lets get some more and make this the best damn Eve player gathering short of Fanfest (Jove Space will be opened up before anyone can put together a player gathering that beast Fanfest)
Oh, and someone send me a link to the recipe for Veto's POS Fuel drink (Or send someone from Veto to make it for us, preferably CCP Falcon)

With a week to go we now have 2 people confirmed attending and 3 possibly attending, with an unknown number of The Southern Legion members possibly also attending.
