KIAEddZ	Posted - 2005.07.28 10:12:00 - [1] I saw a thread earlier this week, asking why we all couldn't "just get along" The truth of the matter is, we don't want to, as just "getting along" is boring. The Counter Strike Generation, doesnt do "getting along" very well. People are questioning MCs actions, and KIAs for that matter, BOB are under attack, all the major Alliance players are involved in something interesting and all in all, these beautifully crafted storylines and real emotion driven arguments, are what makes this great game Eve, what it is today. The major players are back, and kicking it up. It drives the economy, it drives the will to play. KIAs corp chat is buzzing, record attendance, people talking, excited, and determined. That gleam in the eye, that only comes from knowing everything you have worked to earn, is about to be put on the line, is back, and it burns with an intensity that only this game has and will ever manage to achieve. How many 1 billion ISK ships will be risked in these coming weeks, hours and hours of toil and monotony, pride and joy of its owner, put out there, only a Primary Target call away from being nothing. Other MMORPG havent a hope of creating the intense adrenaline rush that Eve gives you. Die in WOW, and you lose nothing of importance, the risk is minimal. Die in Eve, and it can almost bring a tear to your eye. How much the talk of war, discussions of tactics, setup arguments, the plans being made can lift the spirit of a corporation, is only measurable by the joy that mobilising a battle force can bring to those involved. The cries of "Saddle Up!!" ring for hours across the ethernet of TS, the feeling of intrepidation is unquenchable. Long live war, the greatest isk sink CCP have come up with yet :) And a pretty damn fun one at that. CEO of KIA Corp - Been doing it for the Laydeez since 1993, now we is doing it in space.

Dreads will be entering the battlefield soon, POS's are going to start exploding shortly thereafter, perhaps CCP will even be nice enough to run a couple more events like the one with the Titan? It got quiet here for a while. Quiet is boring. So is ice mining. Which I know nothing at all about. I've just heard people talking about it. Seriously. - We're outnumbered! That simplifies the problem!
