Try ctrl-tab, seems to reduce lag considerably, which perhaps implies its the chat channels at fault.

Yeah its deffo chat channels, just notice the lag you get when opening trade channel. How hard could it be to implement a lag-free irc chat is beyond me.

but its true ..sucks losing ships to CTD and other bugs ..especially since CCP doesnt reimburse you (even tho its their bugs that causes it) :)

man, this game is royally screwed........
I lose connection like 7 times a day with cable ....
CTD .......
LAG out the arse with cable....
connetion lose at any given time....
and then when u explain to the gms this is whats happening they say they cant do anything , but yet they can come in the game drop off miner 2s out of favortism. I have no doubt about anythng anyone says about losing their ship, because I lost mine trying to warp out and taking 10 mins to do it, I lost mine being stuck on a roid for 5 mins and I lost my ship in a roid field fighting npc , then lost connection ( I have cable , I never lose connection from that ) and lag, I never had lag in any game unless I used dial up, hmm the people that run this game aint to ****** up are they ?

As far as 'gate lurching' goes. I hate suprises... Specially when I sweat out of my glasses trying to get away... LOL haha
Specially when I ain't got squat to steal. Its like some doofus sittin' on the sidewalk w/ a magnifying glass at noon, toasting ants. Totally dishonorable, and only lessens the respect viewed by other corps.
I accept the 'state of the universe,' however, I can't imagine a 'one shot' kill is of any challenge to anyone in a battleship.

Sad thing is, you pirateguys are still so few out there that you are still cooperaing with eachother, you really didnt think thats gonna last?  you know you are going to fight your fellow pirates in the future so dont get all to*****y... I still dont understand why your confidences is so big they dont fit in your body We all know that no-one is to big to get killed...

Eve is a game
There is nothing honourable about it. It is a product designed for fun.
If it makes you sad and whine about being blown up by pirates then dont play.
There is no honour or glory to be gained from eve, only fun. Whatever happens ends the second your PC switches off so remember that its not real and get a life.
Let the Moo do what they do and play the game. Likewise Xeno, being in the Moo corp dosnt make you notorious. I (like many others) have never heard of you in particular so get off the ego trip.

mm Most people CTD in big fights because it is a bug in EVE.. when 2 people warp jam each other it causes people to CTD around them, and themselves, but not all people are affected it has happend to me alot of times and you can try it for yourselfs pirate warp jams carebear, carebear warp jams pirate one of them CTD, and others around them

Why is ppl whining so much bout loosing their ships or being podkilled in 0.0 solars.
If u are heading to those solars u are taking an big risk, and I dont even think the pirates fly around so often alone either, so if u want to go over there, do that when u are ready.
Maybe in an bigger corp or U got alot of friends.
Its like when growing in ur ships, U slowly goes down in sec level in solars but not even an nOOb is so stupid he goes to far down cause he will easily notice jsut on the npc that they grows stronger further down.
And now a times there is alot of skilled players in the starting corpchat that all starts in where they will getto know things bout the chances in going to low sec solars.
My corp is new and its just for friends of mine and we are only 3 ppl and we got moas with average equip and we dont chance to go down in 0.0 solars yet cause we dont feel ready. When we get betetr things to our ships or grows stronger then we will move down but for now we live in our 0.3 solar.
And btw we are all new in eve to, only been in for around an month all of us so we havent got the time to check out the lower sec solars but we will soon cause we are an Piratehunter corp.
But someday i am sure we will meet soem of the big hotshots among pirates out there but it will be when we feel reeady not when we wanna take suicide, that we can easily do just using alot of drones on npc and get the bug that shuts the computer down..:(
But I am not whining bout that, it was an lesson i learned and in the future I will always insurance my ship before going to take an risks.
