Hi, I started playing EVE just a couple of nights ago, I did the mission that the Tutorial Agent gave me and then did some missions for a female Agent at Hedion. I came to the end of the last mission and she told me to go see another Agent, my problem starts here: I closed the Window by accident and didn't get chance to see the name or location of the new agent, the agent isn't listed in my agents list here (People & Places). Anyone know where this Agent is, if not where should I go now? Thanx.

Dock at a navy station for what ever race you are. ie something like Caldari Navy Assembly Plant. There is a list of corps there do info on the navy. There will be an agents tab in the corp info. ------------------------------------- You are all worthless, and weak.

You can do it at any station and find different agents I just prefer the internal security or security agents for the combat missions. ------------------------------------- You are all worthless, and weak.

Also you can see how good your standings are with various corps (this affects whether or not an agent will talk to you) from the charactersheet and select the corp you have the highest with. From there you can click the info tab on the corp and see what agent are avaliable to you categorised by type. Useful if you want to find the best agent you can.

That mission you get when you first starts leads you into the Story Line of Eve...If you talk to the Tutorial Agent again, she should give you the name of the next person again. I did the same thing and that was how I found it.
Good luck Jentara

Or you can just wait, after a bit the next story agent will send you an EVE mail. ------------------------------------- You are all worthless, and weak.

THE EASIEST WAY TO SEE WHAT AGENTS YOU CAN GET MISSIONS FROM IS ON THE MAP
open the map, go to star settings and choose "my agents". Voila, Every eve agent CURRENTLY available to you.

You're talking about the third storyline agent, right? Well, there is no third storyline. The recommendation from the second agent isn't important; it's time to work for whatever agent you want. |

Only ones you have had a conversation with will be there the poster that suggested using the map was spot on. ------------------------------------- You are all worthless, and weak.

what about finding someone more specific than just "all agents currently available to me"?
like all lvl 2 agents of a certani type (like security and internal security) and also narrowing it down to "good quality" agents? any way to do this, 'cause that would really help
if not then the map-option will be like looking for a needle in a haystack

You can look up the agents on the agents tab of a specific corporation, they are separated by type, and ordered by quality. You can't do that for a whole race unfortunately, but you could look around and pick a corporation you'd like to work for that has the sorts of agents you'd like. For instance, the navies are a good pick for kill missions, or a mining corp for mining missions.

hmm, it still seems to me that theres just WAY too much information in this game, and that is making it hard to find what you're looking for... It's like browsing the web without google!!!
better and more sophisticated searches should be available ingame imo...

Cheers!

aaah se NOW we're talking... :)
actually it works even better ingame, as some of it's features are designed for that... quite nicely done (though it help to have basic understanding of search-algorithms beforehand;))
