It could show things like: A fleet of battleships and cruisers locked in a mortal struggle with thier battery of mining lasers vainly attempting to fend off asteroids. A lone Indy pilot comes racing haphazardly into an asteroid belt prepared for the dangers of mining, then does some AFK mining for 3 hours and watches a movie. You eject from a station on your way to change the face of the universe and make it a better place to live, then your ship is stuck to the side of the station twirling around like a drunken spastic cheerleader until you petition a GM to move you. You gang up with your friends do do some mining and hunting, your friend is attacked by another player, so you step in to assist your gang member, then Concord warps in and rapes you for attacking another player.
Should have some dramatic music to go along with it. I am thinking maybe "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff, the first ~30 seconds for the mining battleships. They warp in dramatically with some surrounding support ships lots of nifty camera panning to catch it all. Maybe fake up a threat box showing the asteroids to add tension :). Then as the music reaches its peak fire up the mining lasers, and then the song drops quiet.
For the indy mining, I favor Mussorgsky's "Night On Bald Mountain" from 0:40-1:25". Got a good buildup as the indy pilot approaches, looking around for danger, then has a nice taper off as he leaves his computer.
The getting killed by Concord music would be Holst's "Mars the Bringer of War". Use from 4:10-4:30 in the song for the friends defense, then the last 30 seconds as Concord strips away any shred of dignity you had.
For any scenes showing a pirate blockade being broken, I recommend Khachaturian's "Sabre Dance". I think it captures the spirit of the blockade holder perfectly.
For showing Ninja Mining, I would use Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King". Captures the whole sneaking in tension building feel of ninja mining.
Call it the "When Eve Attacks!" or "World's Most Shockingest Moments Caught On Film" or "Attack of the Clones" or some other suitable cheesy title.
Or another funny video would be to make an "Eve Gone Wild!" video. ( Make sure to have a couple of those inbred Amarr in there with the Dueling Banjo's theme playing. :) )
I look forward to seeing the results. :)
Anyone got any other suggestions for things to include in it? Or other Eve Trailer Ideas?

Make a char called plagioclaise, get him to lower his sec rating by 0.1, and make him bring 10 noob ships to the field.. That should work for the asteroid threat box.. ----------------------------- You think Marco Polo said "Damn Mongolians were camping that cave entry into the next valley the entire day, you can't get friggin anywhere in the world with those damn griefer tribes all over the place" ? -Indigo Seqi

I already made one. It starts off in a ibis, I fly around, can't do anything since the market is lame and roids are jacked, then I sit there in space and wait for m0o to pod me for some excitment. It's the bomb!

maybe "Dueling Banjos" would go better with a scene of my mouse desperately clicking weapons and/or mwd while i hopelessly try to move when eve just stalled for about 2 minutes till it CTDs.
then the trailer could show the pirates closing in for the kill as the screen flashes to show my desktop as the song builds and then show eve finally starting up after 2 tries and another 2 minutes to show me flying my brand new capsule for the climax of trailer.
camera zooms in on a Large jar of Vaseline, with the auto response of non-responsibility for the background. ;)

"having a indy mine for 3 hours..."
Would be a long trailer too watch. Even normal movies last only for 1 and a half hours :) Knowledge is power ! |
