You're given a new n00b ship every time you die.
If people could recycle it they'd just die, recycle the ship, die, recycle the ship etc.
Wouldn't take long for someone to make a few million that way :)

True, but I wish they would give us some way of destroying the damn newbie ships and pods that build up over time!

They should allow you to recycle the ship for nothing, so you can just get rid of it, or if possible get back some tritanium. This trit should be less then the amount you would get if you had been mining veldspar for the same amount of time. So not much.

We should sell our used pods to Mo0 so they can practice podding :)
They are pretty good at it now but if they had a lot of used pods they could work on trick-podding. Or maybe have competitions amongst themsleves to see who could destroy the pods in the most humourous ways :)

It is real easy to clean out a mess of newb ships. One at a time, undock, "Stop My Ship", Eject. As soon as you are in the Pod, right-click on the drifting newb ship and "Self-Destruct". Dock. When yer done with all the newb ships and have a bunch of Pods, bring an Industrial over and take them out (in my case 5 at a time) and Jettison, "Self-Destruct". Presto! Clean Hangar!

An easier way to get rid of the pod is to go to a station where you have a ship, activate the ship, then activate the pod, then activate the ship again and voila, no more pod.

You may also file a petition and the GMs will delete your excess pods and n00b ships for you.
