did repair, if the repair give you an error
crl+alt+delete to get the tast bar, terminate "launcher.exe"
if there are several terminate all of them.
run repair again if it gave you an error.
if repair was successfull
go to your ccp folder eve/bin/ and find the eve file, click it and eve should run.
worked for me. |

Same problem as everyone else.
On one occasion I saw a new, different-looking launcher with license agreements and everything. Didn't get a connection to TQ so I closed it, opened it again and saw the same old launcher with the offline error message. |

It looks like it is not the launcher itself that is the problem, i opened the launcher log file and this got my attention:
It seems the web server that is hosting the new launcher is unable to respond to calls from the launcher. My guess is that its under heavy load or parts of it are down. This is why some people can after trying again and again log in and others are stuck on the message "Offline Mode".
I am on my way to report this in a bug-report now, hoping it will get solved soon.

Just keeps reloading the laucher update then fails to connect. When I try again it just reloads the patch again and the same thing happens

Tried all the various workarounds and fixes, no dice, still getting 'Offline' message.
My only comfort is that my training queues are full, so provided they fix it within the next, 26 hours or so, I don't have to threaten to quit EVE and take all 30 of my accounts with me.  |

I've got the same problem. I am trying Tania Hide's suggestions on how to fix this problem.

[Edit] Apparently trying to run the Patcher causes an error. Yay.... |

It will take a few minutes and may not even appear for the first 5 mins. Give it time.
Let it run then start eve.
You will get the same message as you had before.. No connection could be made to the content server. Please make sure that your Internet connection is up and restart the Launcher.
Ignore it and start EVE - this is a small box on the right of the error box.

This has literally just worked for me... and I have the same error as as all of you...
I'm not seeing any small box giving me the option to start EVE anyway.  |

Not working for me, tried running the executable from the Eve folder, running it in admin mode etc. and still getting the connection error. Very frustrating! |

launcher did not work, but i did shut down the pc and restarted it 2 times, the second time suddenly i was able to login, did not change anything...
