never made it past the 10 seconds into the gimick intro. From the replys it sounded like there were a few decent fights in there, but this is a prime example of a ****** gimmick intro that ruined a good pvp video. |

You thought the PVE fit Vaga was the best part of the video? You either didn't watch the whole video or you have a completely different idea of what makes an interesting PVP video than I do. |

frigate pvp!!!!!!!! tried watching this first couple fights and went into a deep depression, wondering why frigate 1v1's are a big thing with pvp videos.
tried watching again after seeing post, got to the fourth fight, after i saw the 3 rifters vs comet, got the the fight against the tristan and had to close it again. Will probably end up watching ti all after a few more tries. |

That's awesome man. I really appreciate the effort. So you've attempted to watch it 2 or 3 times now? I think you'll really get into it around the 4th attempt. But please give us an update on how far you make it into the video on your 4th attempt. If it takes more than 4 attempts to get through the video, well actually, if it takes more than 1 attempt, most people give up. But you, you've got tenacity and I like tenacity. If you're still having a hard time finishing the video at this point, I'll hop on Vent and we can watch it together while I give a live commentary. Maybe a good color man would sell this video a bit better. Not sure, but I'm willing to try.

Yeah (actually no). 'Interesting' is a personal opinion, whereas saying it's more 'challenging' is quite wrong. As for your second comment, sorry it's just plain stupid. I read a book recently, didn't like it, but i'm not sure it's because i suck at writing books, or maybe because i was not entertained by what i have just read ?
The issue with frig pvp is that it has been done so many times, that it's hard to make today a frigate-only video which feels new, or original. Also, frig combat makes it very difficult to stay out of the triumvirate "soloing a higher class frig'; 'owning several frigs' ; 'killing a ship of a superior class', the latter giving good killmails, but not necessary good footage.
However, in my opinion, this video has a few epic fights, a funny gimmick and relevant music which is cool, but i suppose most people are craving for more. Good work nonetheless. |

indeed it is more interesting for the people who enjoy it. The whole thing that makes it interesting is understanding what is going on by watching the mod activations and range control (like the multiple slinging attempts before catching the atron in the 3v1).
Someone can tell you about a fight, but being able to break it down and compare it to your own strategies is what makes eve pvp vids (solo/small gang) interesting.
Movies like the R&K smarbombing RvB vids are completely different forms of entertainment, despite being pvp vids.
Anyhoo, great vid, some epic fights, and winner of the hawtest intro 2013 (calling it now)

Ya. When someone wants a 1v1 and a guarantee there will be no gang links or others warping in, you fleet up and warp to a safe spot to fight. Ridiculous isn't it?
And the majority of those fights were inside/on plexes I warped to and the opponents were sitting there waiting for someone to warp in on them. They may have been PVE fit though.
This is the second comment about how painful the video is to watch. I can only hope you're being honest. The idea of someone sitting through a 10+ minute long video that they sincerely hate and pains them to watch instead of just turning it off is completely hilarious to me. Thanks. |

The fights were across the board ok with a few great ones, the music, well I get what you were trying to do but still meh, and the video quality was just ok. Take this with a grain of salt though, I don't usually prefer frigate pvp. |

Thank god you told me to take this highly intellectual critique of my video with only a "grain of salt". You know how much I value your opinion and frankly, I was quite devastated by your harsh judgement. But thanks for salvaging my soul at the end by allowing me to take this analysis so lightly!
Since you got what I was trying to do with the music but you still considered it be "meh". Can you please tell me what would have made it better for you? More dubstep? Less live instrumentation? Music with less soul? Please let me know cuz I feel like this was more of a foul tip than a swing and a miss. I'd really prefer we both be on the same page in the future. Maybe with a bit of your help, we can make sure I hit the next one outta the park.
