My son and I will be heading to PAX on Sunday (only time we could get tix for since he was waiting to see the event list before we committed). He doesn't play EVE either, and it is a damn shame.
Won't be in Boston on the 23rd but I hope to meet up with some of the area players as most of my Corp is either overseas or in the mountain time zone.

Take a taxi if you are lazy, it would be silly to take the metro (known as the T in Boston) it would take you easily twice as long to get there then it would just walking there straight away. |

Jillian's holds about 1,800 people, doesn't sound like they booked the whole place.
I'm sorry to hear it filled up so fast too. I live about 11 miles north of Boston, probably would have went. I am sure the word 'free' helped it to 'sell out' quickly.  |

Just heard about this today on the splash screen. I've played WoW for 6 years...not a single east coast event. Playing EvE for 3 weeks...event right in my backyard. I might stop by just incase all the zealous people who signed up don't make it.

Is there an age limit on this?
My son who is not yet at drinking age plays eve (better than me) and would probably love to go.
Also, I own all the pool tables there and will play anyone, ANYONE for a Vindi or a Rev.

I am definitely going with or without a ticket, even if we can't get in right away we ,can kick a couple back and talk shop.i am totally in on the proposed party crash...we need to organize and have plan  however I refuse to be Mr. Pink.
Anyone that want to go and doesn't have a ticket. We can go and have such avoid that the secs dust off the other guys and come over by us. Send me mail if interested.

The place has a capacity but obviously we'd just prefer to let everyone in. It's basically going to be a first come first serve system of getting in, and yes we will have some plans for overflow mostly revolving around attacking nearby bars in droves if necessary. We'll try to sweet talk the establishment to be lenient with the capacity but we can't promise that everyone will get in.

This was fantastic, and made me regret even more that FanFest is incompatible with my RL schedule.
And not just because I walked out with a new RAZER headset either.
Was wonderful talking to devs, GMs, and fellow players, next time there is a meetup anywhere I can reasonably get to I will certainly be there. |

We had a great time and it was great to meet some of the Boston pilots, not to mention the heroes who drove from New Jersey, Vermont and other places just for the gathering! Great to meet all of you guys :). I was really happy with Jillian's for an event like this and would definitely look into using it in the future. We hope you guys found all the hidden 50 day codes we left around the place, we didn't hide them very well so we're fairly certain you did ;). We hid some in the chips and they all went so unless you had a particularly rubbery chip and magically saw 50 days added to his/her account...I think they were all retrieved the normal way :).
Big thanks to our partners and friends at Razer for sponsoring us with their top notch gear!
Next up for me is our player gathering at GDC in San Francisco before I return back to the frozen wastes to prepare for Fanfest.
