Hello all,
A while back I asked a couple questions on PvP. I recieved some decent advice but am still dying 95% of the time I fight. I'm still enjoying the game and really want to get better a PvP.
My question is what defensive skills should I be training to make me more survivable in fights? Is defense more important than offense in your opinion? What defensive skills are the most important to have at level 5?
I look forward to hearing your responses so I can start heading in, what I hope to be, the correct direction and start winning some fights.

Sorry I always forget to mention that. I'm almost exclusively been training for gallente ships as that's what I chose for my character when I began the game. |

Yes. I usually try to pick my targets carefully but sometimes it's difficult to avoid "Fights", if you can even call them that, when you get jumped by 3 T3 battlecruisers on gate. That happened to me last night lol.
The hope is that some solid defensive skills would at least help to give me a chance in situations like that. Not against T3 cruisers obviously but maybe some lesser ships that would normallly kill me quickly. |

Thanks for the help so far guys. I will work on the skills that were detailed in that most recent post.

This fit is for a Navy Comet and it's pretty much exclusively what I've been flying as of lately. I've lost like 4 or 5 in the past week or two so unfortunately it's getting a little expensive. I don't have enough CPU as of right now to use the Nos and I don't use that crazy expensive faction nano plating or whatever. I just run with a basic T2 Nano Plating.
I was getting a bit sick of losing in t1 frigs. It just never felt like a stood a chance; hence the reason i moved up to the navy comet.
If all that sounds dumb.... let me know lol. |

Unfortunately for me last night, those T3 BC's you speak of were in FW space. I died in the Bleak Lands. That's usually where I go to find fights. I'm finding it very difficult to actually find things that I can kill. Any suggestions on targests I should be selecting in a Faction Figate? |

^ Sounds great man. Can't thank you enough. In the meantime.... What is an FW Plex? I hear that a lot but I was under the impression that PLEX was the monthly fee thing. Am i wrong? Is an FW Plex differerent? |
