CIVIL DEFENSE BUREAU PRESS RELEASE
Civil Defense Bureau [C-DEF] was founded by General Drokar Gazer, former Alliance Ambassador and Fleet Operations Officer of Celestial Horizon Mega Corp. C-DEF Headquarters are located in Ennur.
Its mission statement is to defend the Molden Heath Region of the Minmatar Empire and protect the assets and holdings of The Shuffle Alliance and its member corporations.
In order to facilitate the defense of the region, Civil Defense Bureau hereby announces the creation of 'Molden Heath Regional Defense Board which will encompass several companies with similar goals of the defense and protection of local assets and holdings of the Shuffle Alliance.
If you are interested in joining the 'Molden Heath Regional Defense Board', please contact Drokar Gazer for more information.
Its sister company, Civil Affairs Bureau, is run by DoomViper and handles the Acquisitions, Logistics, Mining Operations, Construction, Research and Development, and POS deployment divisions.

You will find certain regions of Molden Heath already pacified somewhat by the presence of the 'Khan.
Although we are not a police force, obviously.

We are primarily interested in the protection of assets of low sec systems of the region, such as Ore/mineral reserves (Asteroid Belts) and Angel Pirates. We protect those that operate within our alliance and/or are members of the Molden Heath Regional Defense Board.
Civil Defense Bureau is only in charge of the protection of Ennur and its assets/holdings of the Shuffle Alliance. We are not pirates, rather, we hold claim as an alliance to Ennur unofficially.
Therefore, we are in search of other corporations with similar interests as that of our own and would like to join the Shuffle Alliance and the Molden Heath Regional Defense Board. All members are entitled to free travel through low sec systems of Molden Heath. This is not to say that non members cannot have access, several do and we do not interfere as arrangements and understandings have been negotiated to assure no 'illegal' activity is occuring, such as Strip Mining our precious Ore for example.
If your corporation inhabits a low sec system of Molden Heath, please contact me for further information on how you can join.

Ummm not sure if you guys realise how many people already live down in this Region of space and have done so for a while I don't think we'll change our ways because you tell us to.
Also have you any idea whats happening in Great Wildlands at the moment? A player Alliance trying to claim Matari space, and all of the fall out from it?
Please come as live here but don't try and claim the space that is our home

As a council member of the Ushra'Khan I advise the C-DEF to vey carefully consider the recent events in the Great Wildlands Region (GW) between the Ushra'Khan and -V- Alliance. You seem to be making very similar claims in Molden Heath to -V- claims in GW. There are other threads on this forum on that subject.

This statement in particular catches my eye. Could you please elaborate on these "arrangements and understandings" along with these "illegal activities".

Your statements have been forwarded to RSS as a potential threat to the Republic.
How does a Caldari, who's standings are closer to the Empire than the Republic come to believe he has authority to "protect" territory within the Minmatar Republic? What is this "Shuffle Alliance" of which you speak?

These are all very interesting questions. First, I would like to ask that any corp or alliance that would like to discuss these matters or this post in more detail to please convo me directly. It is much harder to convey every possible scenario of what could or will happen. I am not looking for war, rather i was attempting to attract the attention of those who share similar goals. I am looking to work with the 'existing' corporations in the area for the mutual protection of these low sec systems of molden heath, including and most especially Ennur of which i call 'home'.
The ultimate goal of the Molden Heath Regional Defense Board is to facilitate communication between all corporations operating in the area for the mutual defense of everyone. Not to say that i will 'shoot anyone and everyone'. As you can see from my Security Status i enjoy a nice standing with Concord. I simply want to protect the natural resources from plunder from those who are alien to the area, or cause havok to the peaceful members of these systems (strip mining corps and pirates and noob corps that have no business in .1-.4 systems)
In short I am looking to work together with each of you to ensure the stability of the region and continued enjoyment of the regions valuable resources. I apologize if my original statement made me out to be pirate, which is not the case. I ask you to convo me ingame for further discussion.

I don't operate in the Ennur system so my comments are to address these issues in general. You have every right to live and work within the Republic. I am sorry that pirates have troubled your business. Concord and Republic Fleet are the agencies with primary responsibility for preventing piracy in Molden Heath. As you know their resources are limited and fringe systems such as Ennur are seldom covered adequately. Organizing a civil defense force is entirely appropriate under such circumstances and I wish you luck. Minmatar alliances such as U'K and Electus Matari sometimes fight pirates in Molden Heath and might be willing to cooperate with your efforts if they were directed strictly at anti-piracy.
Unfortunately your statements also hint at ownership of mineral resources which are freely available to all Matari. Strip miners and new pilots alike have as much right to mine the Republic's asteroids as you do, whether they live there or not. Given your low standings with the Republic and correspondingly high standings with the Empire, I think you should be grateful for the opportunity to mine alongside the hard working Matari of Molden Heath. If you wish to "own" mineral resources, the Minmatar Republic is not the place to do it.
