Hi, i have a few doubts i would like to clear about the missions in EvE.
I just finished the first agent missions after the tutorial, wich were a story related mission arc. Now im looking for a new agent and was browsing the availble agents in many of the galente based corporations, my question is, if i choose to do missions for a private corporation, like sisters of eve, quafe and whatnot, will i still get sotry missions as i progress? or are story missions just for those that do missions for state owned corporations like the federal navy?

You get storyline missions after every 16 completed missions (if you don't turn any down or fail any). It used to be that some of the factions didn't give storyline missions, but I think that's been fixed. I do know that all of the corporations from the major empires give storyline missions, but I'm not sure about the Sisters.

Okay, my turn to ask a question about missions (and I've been doing them for quite some time).
People seem to refer to storyline missions by number, eg. 6 of 10. Is this a manual count? Do either the number of the storyline or the total number in the arc show anywhere such as the journal?

The tutorial storyline ones (first newbie agent, second newbie agent) do show up by number, in the Journal, yes. The agents are marked as Storyline Agent, too, and the first set results in the +1.0 faction, and the second set results in the +1 implant.
I don't think the missions from regular agents are numbered. They're just marked as "important".

That's as I thought. I guess I just hear a lot of tutorial storyline chat in Oursulaert and had assumed I was missing something. Thanks!

Regular missions don't have any number associated with them beyond what you give 'em: "not that fuggin' Deliver Fertilizer Mission #3045!!!!"
The story line missions on the other hand (the special ones you get offered every 20 or so regular missions) do appear to come in "sets." I just timed out of mission #4 of 10 - and yes, they are listed as such in their mission name/descriptions.
