Station:
7x Neutron Blasters (cruiser sized)
4x Cap Rechargers
5x Magnetic Field Stabilizer
I've never taken a Brutix into PVP, but i'd fit this:
6x Neutron Blasters
1x MicroWarp Drive 1x Sensor Booster 1x 20km Warp Scrambler 1x Medium Cap Booster
1x Medium Armor Repairer (I know you said no T2 but T2 would be really nice here) 2x Magnetic Field Stabilizer 2x Cap Relays
I dont know if that will fit, or if it works, but thats what it'd fit.

Edited by: Franky B on 02/08/2005 22:33:40 Edited by: Franky B on 02/08/2005 22:31:00 6-7 medium neutrons without a RCU... man I wish this was true.
try something like... 5 med ions, 3 med electrons. 1 MWD, webber, 1 scrambler, cap recharger. 1 T2 med repper, 2-3 hardeners, 1 RCU/PDU...
yea. brutix needs more love
your setup there with 6 neutrons a cap booster, mwd and repper is far too much grid for the brutix to handle unfortunatley
personally... if I ever had to use a brutix in a battle, i'd make it a frigate/ af killer.
8 150mm T2 rails with antimatter and long range ammo for backup. 1 webbber, 2 disruptors, 1 T2 sensor boosters 1x 1600mm Plate (heck you have so much grid left, might as well) 1 t2 med repper, 2 hardeners, 1 cap relay

Edited by: Franky B on 02/08/2005 22:41:13 hehe, managed to miss out the fact that your attacking a station.
in which case, as many damn neutron blasters as you can fit (named, so anode or modal) whatever tickles you in the mid slots... (tracking computers maybe) low slots... you'll need at least 4 standard RCU's to run 8 neutrons... so you have 1 slot left for a dmg mod.
since you'll most likely be part of a fleet and that fleet would have tried to clear the area of hostiles before attacking, then you wont need a tank or any EW modules.

well the bruitix for pvp would be a full rack of 150s and an amor tank but it won't do all that well and I'd actually prefer to be in a rax. only thing a brutix is better than a rax in is mining.
oh and you sig is way to big and breaks the forum rules. max size is 400x120

For busting a station (i.e. as much damage as possible) fit as many damage mods you can fit and the best blasters you can fit.
If I ever fitted a brutix I'd go for the standard Platerax setup, but with 2x 1600mm plates
Also, there's no way on earth that sig is within forum limits (if it is, I'm posting my old one again)

His is 157 x 661 and 128811 bytes. So yeah, it's way out of forum limits.

i faced a T2 electon brutix once, i though it was formidable and more than put my faith back in the brute, would have chew'd throguh my rax in 10 seconds if i didnt get help to web it
im guessing he used T2 electons to save PG for Plate and hardners
and maybe ran hardners on the shield too as it took unusually long time to get through

I'm fairly confident that if I had t2 med hybrids and battlecruiser at 4 I could kill any close range HAC in a brutix.

For attacking a conq station - put four target painters in the medslots.
We don't know by what equation they do it yet, but target painters increase the chances of wrecking shots - increasing the damage of your whole fleet incrementally.
And, of course, antimatter blasters in highs and damage mods in lows.

You're all wrong! (or I am).
No blasters, since the stations got larger I can't seem to hit with blasters in my Mega. Fit with 7 dual 150mm for the damage bonus. I'd rather have all the guns the same as it keeps optimal the same. Fit magnetic stabalizers and cpu units in the lows to trying to maximize the number of damage mods. Fit the mediums with what ever you can.
This should give max damage to a station. Just don't engage anyone or you will die like a dog in the road.
I have no idea about about for PvP , still trying to figure that out myself
