Edited by: Tovarishch on 03/08/2005 05:06:08 I am considering running some missions for InterBus to repair my -5.00 Gallente faction without injuring my other state factions. To do this I need to get an important mission from InterBus. How exactly do you go about meeting the criteria for being offered an important storyline mission from a given corporation?

IF you do constant missions you will receive an important mission about every 4 days.

It not dephends on "days", it dephendes on how many missions u do. For example yesterday i was doing lev1 ammatar missios ( must raise ammatar standing ), and i did 2 important missions because in one day i did ~60 missions ( do L1 missions in an intie often dures less than 1 minute ).
Dunno exactly how many missions u should do ( it's random and depends also by your skills) but i think u have 3-5% chance to get an important mission any time u finisced a regular one.

Once every 16 missions
You get a mail from another agent from the same faction asking you to meet him/her. Fly over to his/her station .. talk to him/her .. and you get your important mission.

Joop, once every 16 aplied to you or it's apllied to everyone , no matters your social skills? I think i must do more that 16, but never counted it seriusly so might be wrong.

Its 16 regardless of social skills.
If you decline or fail a mission add 2.

NO WAY you can get an important mission, iirc interbus doesnt give important misions, at least this was some months ago... -----------------------------

Any idea is this is true - that InterBus does not offer important missions? And if so, how it is possible to improve my -5.00 Gallente standing without injuring my Caldari standing (and other opposing Gallente standings)?
Thanks in advance.

Just to make clear since I wondered about this myself. These 16 missions have to be from the same agent. If you switch agents (for doing different level missions when alone/in group) the mission you do for the second one won't count even if it is from the same corp/faction.
Probably you get a second queue and when you complete the 16 missions for the second agent you get another important mission.

After 18 L3 missions with InterBus (18 just for good measure... no failures and none rejected) I have not received an important mission.
Looks like there is no way to improve opposing standings without screwing your own state standings.

And tbh, that's how it should be. You can't have it all.

keep going with interbus. I thought they fixed it in the last patch :S. The Old way was that they sent you OUT of corp and since there was only a single corp in interbus, they would not give important missions.

Edited by: Tovarishch on 04/08/2005 09:17:13 Thanks for bringing that enlightening tidbit of wisdom to the thread, Solomon. I'll have to scroll up and check to see where I asked for your opinion.
PS. I didn't say it should be EASY to repair standings.... simply that it should be possible as it ONCE WAS.
PPS. Thanks for the info Ashlee. I'll throw a little more work into it.

Yea.. No Storyline/Importants with Interbus.. Been that way for a while.. On top of it they dont have any faction related rewards for your lp's..
There are Transfer Loyalty's from one race to another tho and you might be able to use a pir8 corp, or one of the other factions and gain your standing faster than with IB..

is it correct you only raise 0.01 point corpstanding everytime you finish a mission.
