The PvP Log-off Timer has been increased to 15 minutes. The Log-off timer reverts back to 1 minute after the PVP Log-off Timer has expired. PvE (NPC) Log-off timer remains unchanged.
HMMMMMMMM the end ? i think not |

If you log / crash in space your ship will vanish 1 minute later.
If you log / crash in space while fighting NPCs, your ship will vanish 1 minute later, warp scrambled or not.
If you log / crash in space while engaged in PVP, or up to 15 minutes after engaging in PVP, your ship will vanish, but 15 minutes later, warp scrambled or not.

You see Barney_The_Purple_Dinosaur in a badger mark II.
You kill Barney.
And there was much rejoicing.
You warp off to a safespot.
A) You log off, and your ship sits there for 15 minutes, susceptible to attack.
B) You warp between safespots for 15 minutes evading scan-probes. B2) You log off at your safespot, 1 minute later, your ship disappears.
There....I just taught you how to pirate, now go do it so I can come kill you for doing it -----

i think
For the normal timer, no pvp penalty, it's 2 minutes AFAIK.

If you get into PVP your ship and pod stay around for upto 15 mins, we had this happen to a pirate in R3, went to a safe then logged, 1 min after that in comes our covert ops with probes and we end up with about 120mil of loot and a corpse.

Still not clear.
If I was attacked, but did not responce myself and log of, which timer would apply to me?

I thought that when pvp'ing u warp off as per usual when crashed but that u stay in the not-so-safe, safe spot for 15min which gives then time to find u.

Log off before the attack? Not exactly sure what happens if they log off right after a jump, someone tries to hit em with a warp scram, will the 15 min counter still count?

Also, if you attack a player, go to safespot and log off after 14minutes, your ship does not dissapear 2 minutes later (15mins + 1min delay). The timer is reset and you will be in space for another 15mins.

I don't know what happens if you log off before aggro starts, but heres exactly what happens in the other cases:
Test Case 1: - Char A scrambles Char B. - Char B logs off. - Wait 15 while scrambled the entire time. - Char B vanishes.
Test Case 2: - Char A shoots Char B, once. - Char B waits 16 min (15 min timer, plus 1 min) and logs off - Char Bs' ship vanishes from space after 2 min, the normal log out timer.
Test Case 3: - Char A shoots Char B, once. - Char B waits 10 min, and logs off. - Char Bs' ship vanishes from space 15 minutes after logging out.
Result: Char Bs' ship vanished a full 25 minutes after last aggro.
So if you log out before the 15 min PVP timer is up, your logout timer is reset to 15 minutes.
Also, the PVE timer is not 1 min, its 2 min, at least in these tests it was exactly 2 minutes every time. I believe the patch notes are incorrect.

The 15 minute PVP timer. It doesn't matter who starts the agression.
