Recently got my Jag blown up (I miss it..and I'll definately be buying another soon) but decided instead of getting another Jag, I'd try something new and got a Wolf instead. Previously I'd been flying my Claw, so I figured I'd run a autocannon, armortanked setup. WOW. I love this ship. :) That's all...no complaints, no questions. My three favorite ships are now Wolf, Claw, Jaguar...in no particular order. My tempest and typhoon have both been rotting in my hanger for the most part lately.
I felt the need to make a positive post since I almost never see them on the forums these days. ^_^

To support Weirda on the hacs, I haven't flown anything but my crusader since I got an Ishtar and a Deimos :) (and then mostly for taxi missions or frig fleets).

get minmatar HAC and all ships will be rotting in hanger!
except when you waiting for replacements... 
on serious note though - battleships are definatley overused, especially when a smaller ship class can do the job - maybe not as efficiently (sometimes more efficiently), but ALWAYS a lot more fun!
many battleship pilot on forum that are unhappy with certain aspect of their ship would behoove to jump into something else (smaller) that they 'used to fly'... they may 'fall in love all over again'...

That's why I'm flying the Wolf now. My skills are still in the middle of meeting prereqs for HAC, at which time I will hop into a Vagabond. :)

But I agree with th OP, an AutoWolf is a very fun ship to fly. And I agree with wierda that HAC can even take itto the next level.
The only proble I have with the HAC is the make you feel invincible and then you do something really really stupid and have to wait forevr to get a new one.

I already feel like I'm somehow breaking a law of the universe flying the Wolf. Back in early release, before I quit for over a year, we didn't dream of attacking even a cruiser spawn in a frigate...now I'm killing multiple bship spawns in one...it just seems so wrong. I'll probably make a stupid mistake costing my ship sooner or later, then I will feel your pain (though not as much, since wolves are SO much easier to come by than vagas...)

I fly Munnin, Tempest, Wolf, Mammoth, Probe.
You would think I'd fly something else since I can fly pretty much anything but other races HACs and Interceptors ( got over that back nik in 2003 with cruise launcher breachers so why bother ). If I needed a Vaga I would get one... but for what I do there isn't a damn bit of difference between the two to justify paying and waiting ... more.
