Due to the new duel system can flipping is dead, as much as i came to dislike can flipping i still kinda have a soft spot for it as it was my first way of getting into some for of PVP, and i am going to miss all the elaborate ways people came up with to make people take cans of theirs. I have been on both ends of the can flip and it have to say it was funny to be part of it.
Can flipping im going to miss you, what about everyone else? |

Can flipping was for two things. Griefing noobs and setting up duels.
CCP killed two birds with one stone.

Thats why i said i came to hate it in the end, as rather than use it to get fights with other PVPers it became a tool to greif the new players with.
I do agree that it had been done away with but still will miss people's scams to make it possible. |

Cans got old really fast.
Now, launching bombs at WH's when they used to "flare" back in the early days... that was quality goodness...

Can flipping was dead when they started the suspect system, all they did was reintroduce it in a different form....non-issue.
The single biggest danger to EVE is the proliferation of ALTS! Kill an alt today!
Petition for a Minimum bounty of 10 mil. Prevent useless bounties!

Can flipping (the act of stealing from a can and dropping it into your own) isn't dead. It has become more difficult and requires some creativity, but I still engage in it from time to time.
Stealing from a can to get aggression is still alive and well, too. Hang out as a suspect long enough, someone will decide to shoot you.

You're all looking at it too short-term. All this means is that griefy types will have a much higher bite-rate when fishing rookie areas about 6 months from now. They'll have no idea that the yellow box is bad. |
