Just played it and holy crap, i thought the MP beta was awesome, this is something else.
No doubt in my mind this is gonna be the game of the year, unless Dungeon Siege 2 does something pretty special.
Download the demo, turn the volume up and the lights down.

kept an eye on this baby for awhile.
monolith make great games,they just dont sell very well.

DS2, good game, not extraordinary. Kinda like wow offline or online and play with your mates.
"omg omg omg look at this cool new spell i bought"

Just played the SP demo, and i have to say...omfg, i want this game.
Damn thing made me jump right toward the end, but hey, thats what its all about. 
Looks like it could have a genuinely good b-movie plot to it, which, lets face it, most games have. 
Im just glad my old pc can run it reasonably well.
Technically, looks like it could be up there with HL2, maybe has a bit more flash.
I would recommend the demo wholeheartedly.

the demo rocks,hl2 has a serious contender now.
i like the fact that in fire fights the room fills up with dust and smoke,making it hard to see the bad guys.
oh and it pant fillingly scarey.

guess what, i got half way thru the download, decided to check system specs of the thing and found out once again my gfx card alone lets me down.
just like bf2..Another one of the games i wanted and i cant play. Time for a little upgrade me thinks, because i sooooooo want this game.

Demo is too short :p.
It's certainly going to be a great game, very hardware intensive as we can see, but a great game none the less.

You aint kiddin, I just upgraded my mobo/cpu/ram/gfx card (Athlon64 3200, 1gb, 6600gt geforce) and it still struggles with this game in medium detail.. although the graphics are amazing with the detail on.
And the demo is way too short  looks to be an awesome game though, and finally, some decent AI in a game.

I tried the demo last night and was quite pleased that my system could run it on high settings without a problem.
I can see why the poster above says "its nothing special" because it is another First Person Shooter.
BUT, I can see in this game a lot of refinement and use of the GPU technology to bring a great FPS experience to us. The graphics and effects are suberb, as is the audio. The 'bullet time' mode looks amazing when active.
And you have the scare factor too. Just make sure you have a decent video card and sound card to fully appreciate what the developers are doing here.

Run up to somebody
Hit CTRL to enter slow motion mode
Right Click the slap him across the face
Left Click to shoot him in the chest as he goes down
Awesome fun.
Also, if you press right click mid jump, you do a flying kick

Never really played much with the slowmo. Looks pretty good, never really liked FPS before though but this seems pretty interesting.

I don't debate that technically, it's very impressive, however gameplay wise I just don't find it very interesting. Kind of like Far Cry was really.
