Glad to see [5] & BoB's ex-celest fanboi's are still going strong. I was worried I hadn't saw one of you in a [5] or BoB post all weekend.
There isn't really anything to say on this post. Xanadu slipt out the backdoor as many other corps have done when the going gets tough. It happened up north, it happened down south and it will happen with every other organisation that we attack.
I am sure they have made a full explanation on thier forums as to their reasoning and like I said in another post:
FA say it best when they say nothing at all.

I believe this is pure bs and propaganda, still, xanadu isn't confirming or denying anything, not even on the FA forums and ya, i'm an FA alt of one of the few corporation left, but i'm quite curious about if there is any truth behind this affirmation, as i don't see why they would leave since they said that most of their profits comes from their empire sells anyway |

Note the lack of automated "Member of Fountain Alliance" entry in the info panel under the corporation name.

Who says ATUK left BoB?
I do understand that BoB must confuse the EvE populace but nothing has ever changed in BoB since we first came together (oo-eer missus).
As we have said before regardless of the BoB IGA, BoB itself has never changed. ATUK might be in a different IGA but they are still part of BoB. Stan still gets all my lub(e).
BoB was never an alliance and the only reason you see our corps in an IGA is for pure game mechanical reasons.
On the other hand, FA was setup as an alliance from the very beginning and Xanadu has now left that alliance.

From a logistical side look at it this way. FA depended Xanadu until I left for:

Fleet Ships through cheap alliance prices (Bunch of ungreatful Fs FA was btw)
FA mod prices (cheap Tech II)
Contacts to CCP
Contacts to other alliances
Xan practically ran the alliance by itself. This is a BIG DEAL.(no pun intended)

iirc xanadu didnt offer discounts so much as BIG did... basically they had some ships and modules that FA members could buy for cheap. dont remember if it was all from BIG or other corps, was just section on forums with list what was for sale
but you had to wait in line, and i bet the three people ahead of you for that HAC were same guys using them blow up FA ships
xanadu has not given reason or post on FA forums. someone said they did say they leaving in directer forums or something.
i think FA was great place once but dead now. glad i got out while i could. i wish instead of leaving that huns and ela and dmgi and such great corps would have formed alliance of own and kept fighting for fountain. really feel bad for few corps left in fountain they have no chance to keeping their home now.

I'm no fan of XAN and I detest what FA ended up becoming.
But to be fair, in the early days XAN did heavily discount prices to FA members, and gave away free bpc's to FA corps as well during the mOo/FE wars and after.

despite having a beef with some of the older xan members, whoever claims xan didnt give a discount is either a clueless moron or a flame alt.
Xanadu produced ships in nonni for everyone who wanted to buy there (bs). Discounts were atleast 10% under sales price if not more. However they were never "cost free".
Why would they?
Xanadu gave free bpcs to new corps and gave bpcs on a reduced price to FA members.
Xanadu gave cheap t2 stuff in Fountain and Nonni to FA members however they didnt step out of their "current orders" because simply said if you start to produce cost free and for your own posse you wont make any money of the bpos because some greedy noobs will buy cheap and resell the ships (seen that often enough).
So as a conclusion Xanadu was never a charity or the "internal production wing" for FA, however they gave reasonable discounts on their products (for nothing in return as alot of the fa members who whined loudest never did a squat).
This comes from an enemy of FA so ull find some truth in it and no "oh well they left why not slander them" mentality.

While i was only a FA(AFDT) member for 2-3 months a year ago, I can assure you xan never offered/gave me discounts, despite asking funguy, on their forum, and their main production guy on the xan trade channel(this was battleships, same deal with t2 when I asked)

Sorry you feel you were jaded, but I personally sold Battleships & BPCs to FA corps at lower prices. We did stop selling the BPCs at discount once the market became flooded and the bottom fell out with prices. We always had FA prices for Tech II stuff posted on the FA forums when I was still a member.
I do remember I was never thanked but only from maybe 10% of my FA customers. It was always, "Hey man I know you are selling us cheap stuff but can you come down even more, you know amoung alliance members and stuff" bullcrapo lines. A thank-you would have been nice.
I think after awhile people start taking others for granted and the charity stopped. There were even numerous occations that stuff was given out for free to allaince members.

I know DE got some free bpc's. There was a scheme running for a while, each corp could get up to 4 free bpc's a month, round about the time of the mOo/FE war and for while after (though my memory may be bit out here, it was a long time back).

I was always under the impression that BIG/Xan ran the show, but when one of my chars was in FA that was not the case.
The smaller corps made up the bulk of the force and I never saw any Xan/Big guys seeling FA ppl cheap ships/mods. Infact I rarely saw any of them at all.
ELA and DMGI are 2 names that spring to mind. Each corp had a few loyal servants/slaves that made up the core of every FA fleet. AFAIK, alot of these guys are still roaming around Fountain.

Guys, Xanadu never ran FA. In fact, xan were barely active in EVE since the EQII and then WoW launched - but that's not the point...
If you'll allow me to offer my opinion, we (the now departed FA) were a thriving democracy in our glory days, actually governed by our member corporations.
But something happened along the way, and that something was not Xanadu. I'm certain of it =)
Empires rise and empires fall, as should be in a game of epic proportions. Shame ours went with more of a yawn than a bang =)

I do understand that BoB must confuse the EvE populace but nothing has ever changed in BoB since we first came together (oo-eer missus).
As we have said before regardless of the BoB IGA, BoB itself has never changed. ATUK might be in a different IGA but they are still part of BoB. Stan still gets all my lub(e).
BoB was never an alliance and the only reason you see our corps in an IGA is for pure game mechanical reasons.
On the other hand, FA was setup as an alliance from the very beginning and Xanadu has now left that alliance.

Really so you somehow gained sovreignity of the system with fewer pos's than us and took a station, Big deal. Well have it back by the end of the day.
Who knows who will have it tomorrow since no one can figure out how sovreinity is gained or lost, it seems buggy atm.
and it brings all the targets in for us to shoot at, so GG for the fights yesterday look for more of them this weekend, maybe we all wont be all that bored this weekend.

Yeah the covert ops thing was funny...anyways yeah I hope for some good fights this weekend as well, we have been having engagements consistantly every day it seems.
