lol i cba to read this, guessing its another whine thread
any chance we can get a new forum section called "rants & whining" & then the mods can move all these threads there so they dont clog up the other parts of the forum

No. But were they meant to be able to defend themselves at all? I bet they were, but that buggy piece of crap, what CCP calls "Starbase", is totally useless.
As I paying customer I think I can expect a working product and not being betatester on the liveserver. Until that has changed there is no reason to build or supply a POS.

we tried but we learned, and not the last standing of xetic but no such direct blobbing-fight against the whole .5. i think.
May be we make another rollout with another concept. But the smack make it not easy seeing .5. as a real enemy.
Hmm, Reinforced mode buys you time to get your fleet. Smaller fleets cant take POS with large guns. Hence POS are not defenseless. Fleets taking POS are setup-gimped.
Your problem is that you think you dont have to have grunts in ships to hold the line in alliance vs. alliance warfare. That you billion is should make you invinciable. That dreads should be the end-all and be-all of alliance warfare.
You are beginning to remind me of people whining that 20 frigs can take out a BS.

70 players, flying more than 10x the assets the pos was worth
you had over 24hrs, did you sleep for 24hrs?
fact is you neglected to defend your pos with players relying on fuel
