Well, I want to give cudos to Xetic, RUS and foundation. Regardless of my alliance-mates scorn, i would like to say you caught us with our pants down and did a very cunning strategical move.

I wonder which exploit/bug you mean. Maybe you are speaking of the reinforcement mode timer. It seems that the POS is consuming the Stront in the same batches/piles we moved it in. This means when you put in Stront in two batches you get two reinforcement mode cycles with different timers. We were unaware of this behavior. Even we were surprised when the POS started another reinforcement mode.
Btw, good tactic on the POS knock down.

kudos to XF for taking on a force that is numerically stronger in terms of sps in gunnery and people. You gain my respect for that.
Respect to 5 for once again showing how to put huge fleets of peeps together. You people know discipline and chain of command better than any and it shows.

Congratulations to XF/RA/RAT/Foundation and everyone else involved in stealing JV1V. Seriously, pwned. You deserve a lot of credit for that operation (even if one of you can't help but pat themself on the back -no cake for you- and CCP dropped the ball halfway through). Respect.

The reinforced timer "bug" is not to do with multiple piles of strontium, which you can't do anyway as POS fuel auto-merges. In fact it appears to be the 25% reduction in fuel consumption if you hold system sovereignty, which translates to a 33% increase in time. The timer is calculated without this bonus, so when it runs out there is still fuel left and so it resets for the remainder.
At least that's the latest theory, and does seem to match observed behaviour. Of course POSs and sovereignty are so buggy it's hard to be sure.

When we conquered xetic space and they were totally defeated they couldn't even beat the shield recharge on the conquerable POS so ofcourse this couldn't be an only xetic op

ah right, i thought people used etc for ideas / things similar in nature, not as a substitute for something compeltely the opposite to what they have already written.
anyway, my understanding of reinforced mode was that you add enough stront to give you the time you require to gather a group and defend it.
