I wounder where ppl get it from that most pirates kill you after you have payed ransome. Personaly iv never ever seen this happend and not even once read about someone experience it first hand.
On a second note, i would never pay ransome. If i so was caught in a freighter carying all eve's HAC in its cargo. But thats a personal thing :)

I have once killed someone after they paid because my drones would not stop.
I told him to warp out, but he did not.
I sent him his ransom back, and 2 days later escrowed him back an exact replacement ship, modules and all (including the single can of Quafe and 2 units of livestock that were in his hold ... er ... must have been a wild party).
Why did I do it?
Dunno, seemed right at the time.

Chaz read you frickin bio, ****. And as for the guy not paying up, its probably cos he can afford it, there was a post somewhere, where someone just left their apoc fitted with T2 mods sitting in a belt (some people just dont care).
And if he only had t1 mods why didnt you try takin him on yourself, sorry chaz but making isk is easy in this game, if you still dont know how, you should go ask your victim for some tips.

Shooting back at your local pirates is generally a lot more fun. Which is what a navy 'thron is ideal for...COMBAT. And if it goes down in combat, then it went down well. And pride does count for a heck of a lot. Besides, why complain when such a ship doesn't pay? Blow up a faction battleship and you're likely to get more from loot than what you were asking for ransom.

So true man. in the begining back when ppl actually was mining and there was a opertunity and time to ask ppl for ransome.
We hade about 2 of 10 payed (5 of 10 probely didnt have isk, 3 of 10 dont wanna) and 100% got reliced afterpayed , 100% got killed when thay didnt, kinda goes both ways when you ransome one. I promis not to harm you or your ship after you paied .. but if u dont pay I will make sure u wich u did;). im no alt this is main and was about 2 years since i mined. I dont have a mining alt or any alt thats called cearbear. SOO go figure how we can come from sitting is Blackbirds with 20 mil in corp wallet. If the buissnes wansent so good whod I still be -10 ?
and yeah if theres no convo poping up on your screen, theres a resion we not intressted in ransome at that time, ofcores allways up for sugestions so be quick.
